V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2 is the second special series for Cardfight!! Vanguard. The set includes 48 new cards and 36 reprints for a total of 84 cards. The set includes support for older decks in the V-Standard Format and new decks in the format.
In addition, many classic units return in V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2. Bluish Flame Liberator, Prominence Core and Ultimate Raizer Mega-flare are two of the units from the Legion era. They have new version for the V-Standard Format!

Bushiroad introduces a new and complex strategy for Angel Feather’s tactics with the damage zone. The clan of angels manipulate the damage zone for a new purpose. Angel Feather’s signature unit in V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2 is Prophecy Celestial, Ramiel. The ability of Prophecy Celestial, Ramiel stands rear-guards for additional attacks, and the number of stands depends on copies of units in the damage zone.
Furthermore, this new strategy for Angel Feather adds a new dimension to the clan. Smart players with experience will master this new deck. You need to perfectly manipulate the damage zone with new cards such as Candle Celestial, Sariel and Spine Celestial, Jophiel.
Dark Irregulars:
Bushiroad creates a new and fantastic style for Dark Irregulars in V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2. Blade Wing Reijy leads the clan of monsters with a unique strategy. You build the soul and you actually bind cards from the soul instead of keeping the cards in your soul for abilities. Blade Wing Reijy gains offense, defense, and an ability to deal two damage to an opponent.
In addition, V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2 includes amazing support for Blade Wing Reijy. Demonted Executioner and Werwolf Ketzer complements Dark Irregulars’ new deck. They provide a lot of cards for the soul. You can reach Blade Wing Reijy’s ultimate ability to deal damage.
Gear Chronicle:
The gears of time turn in V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2. Gear Chronicle’s has new and generic cards for the clan. You can play these new cards with Chronofang Tiger, Chronojet Dragon, and Interdimensional Dragonknight, Lost Legend.
The new grade 4 unit for Gear Chronicle is Interdimensional Dragon, Chronoscommand Dragon. This unit establishes a full field of units. Interdimensional Dragon, Chronoscommand Dragon superior calls five cards from the deck. In addition, Interdimensional Dragon, Chronoscommand Dragon sends all of the opponent’s rear-guards to the bottom of his or her deck!
Gold Paladin:
Three Liberators make their return to Cardfight!! Vanguard! Gold Paladin’s second archetype uses the clan’s signature tactic of superior calling units to their advantage. Bluish Flame Liberator, Prominence Core has the ability to superior call up to four units from the deck. This ability is a great representation for the Gold Paladins.
Furthermore, V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2 includes an amazing reprint of Oath Liberator, Aglovale. He is one of the best cards in the entire clan. In addition, This rear-guard is a critical piece of the new deck’s strategy. Oath Liberator, Aglovale has synergy with Bluish Flame Liberator, Percival and Bluish Flame Liberator, Prominence Core.
Granblue:
One of Granblue’s weaknesses is losing triggers when abilities mill cards from the deck to the drop zone. Bushiroad introduces a unique unit with the ability to change the clan’s weakness into a strength. This new unit from is V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2 is Young Pirate Noble, Pinot Noir.
Young Pirate Noble, Pinot Noir mills two cards, and he activates the trigger effects from the two cards. Therefore, this ability takes the form of an extra drive check. This ability is perfection for Granblue. Many units in Granblue activate abilities after you mill them, and your units gain benefits from triggers in the drop zone.
Great Nature:
Great Natures has new cards for School Hunter, Leo-pald. Honorary Professor, Chatnoir and Taping Cat are fantastic cards for the classic deck. Honorary Professor, Chatnoir reveals cards for effects. Tap Cat provides resources and power.
Afflated Lemur is a nice reprint for Great Nature in V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2. This unit soul charges a card or counter charges damage. Therefore, you build resources for the cost of your abilities. Afflated Lemur ensures you to have counter blasts for Honorary Professor, Chatnoir.
Link Joker:
Star-Vaders from Link Joker receive new support for the V-Standard and Premium formats. These new versions of classic units are great additions for the deck in the V-Standard Format. Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon is a good backup for your grade 3 and his abilities complement Star-Vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon.
In addition, Prison Gate Star-vader, Palladium is a unique card for the clan. His second ability counters decks with the ability to unlock units. He can instantly lock a card at anytime when an opponent unlocks a card. Prison Gate Star-vader, Palladium is a useful rear-guard for Star-vader, Chaos Breaker, and Messiah.
Neo Nectar:
Musketeers are back and they are ready to blossom. Neo Nectar’s archetype of flowery warriors has new version of classic units. Lycoris Musketeer, Vera was the archetype’s signature card in the Legion format. She has amazing abilities for the archetype.
Furthermore, Lycoris Musketeer, Vera gives the power of triggers to all of your units in the front row. You can create powerful columns with a lot of pressure on the opponent. Similar to Legion, Lycoris Musketeer, Vera returns cards to the deck. She also superior calls units to the field for additional offense!
Nova Grappler:
Players of Nova Grappler will be greatly disappointed with the new cards V Special Series 02: V CLAN COLLECTION Vol.2. These units are the worst cards in the entire set. Ultimate Raizer Mega-flare is Nova Grappler’s new grade 3 unit, and the card does not have impressive abilities.
Furthermore, Ultimate Raizer Mega-flare is not a good fit for Nova Grappler. Its first ability is an illogical skill. You need to rest your vanguard to stand it and a rear-guard. Then, it’s second ability is a slightly better ability than the first ability. You can generate a second Accel marker after you ride Ultimate Raizer Mega-flare.
Nubatama:
Nubatama has a new method for the clan’s tactic of limiting the opponent’s hand. Sword Saint of Invincibility, Daihouzan has one of the most disruptive skills in Cardfight!! Vanguard. Sword Saint of Invincibility, Daihouzan forces the opponent to discard a card when he or she calls a normal unit to the field. The opponent is paying a cost to play rear-guards, and this ability reduces the opponent’s resources.
Furthermore, Sword Saint of Invincibility, Daihouzan has strong allies in Master Swordsman of Successive Victory, Houzan and Martial Artist of Laceration, Houzan. These cards weaken the opponent’s field. Their abilities enable Sword Saint of Invincibility, Daihouzan’s ability to gain power and an additional critical.
Shadow Paladin:
The Revenges make their glorious return to Cardfight!! Vanguard. The clan’s archetype of the Limit Break era receives major upgrades for their original units. The archetype’s most popular card is Revenger, Raging Form Dragon, and he receives good support from Dark Cloak Revenger, Tartu.
The new Revenger, Raging Form Dragon basically has a similar ability as the original card. You superior ride a copy of this card from your hand. Revenger, Raging Form Dragon swings two attacks at the opponent, and you gain an additional Force marker with the superior ride.
Tachikaze:
Tachikaze is a more enjoyable clan in the V-Standard format with its ability of equip guage. Ancient Dragon, Spinodriver is the clan’s signature unit in the deck. Ancient Dragon, Spinodriver is an aggressive unit with a lot of offense. It generates additional markers of Imaginary Gift:Accel.
In addition, Ancient Dragon, Spinodriver has strong support from this set. Regiment Dragon, Regiodon is a great fit for Tachikaze in the V-Standard format. You do not lose ground when you retire Regiment Dragon, Regiodon. This unit allows you to call a unit from the equip gauge.
