The opponent is unable to special summon his or her spellcaster from the deck due to the effect of Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring.

In addition, Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring is an effective card against cards with a heavy cost. This effect monster negates the effects of Pot of Desires and A Hero Lives. These cards have a high cost and the opponent would pay a heavy cost to only lose the effects.

Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring is also a tuner monster. This effect monster may create Synchro Summons. It is a secondary option if you choose not to use the card’s first effect.
