Unit of The Week: Dragon Dancer, Faja

[AUTO](VC/RC):When placed, look at five cards from the top of your deck, reveal up to one “Wyvern Strike, Doha” or “Wyvern Strike, Garan” from among them and put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck.

Dragon Dancer, Faja is one of the many Dragon Dancers in Kagero. She supports the many forms of Dragonic Blademaster. Dragon Dancer Faja has a fiery offense, and she searches for her comrades to join her in battle! Her fiery dance ignites a powerful flame! Wyvern Strike, Doha and Wyvern Strike, Garan join her on the battlefield!

First Ability

Dragon Dancer, Faja gains 5,000 power if your opponent does not have any rear-guards. She can hit any vanguard without needing a boost. Her ability nicely adds offense to your field. She rewards you for burning the opponent’s strategy.

Second Ability

Dragon Dancer, Faja searches for Wyvern Strike, Doha or Wyvern Strike, Garan from the top five cards of your deck, and you add one of them to your hand. It is a strong ability, and this ability adds consistency to the deck for Dragonic Blademaster. You get a free card after riding or calling Dragon Dancer, Faja. The ability does not have a cost.

Furthermore, Dragonic Blademaster “Souen” needs Wyvern Strike, Doha and Wyvern Strike, Gara to fully use his ability to retire all of your opponent’s rear-guards. Then, Dragon Dancer, Faja’s first skill activates after your opponent does not have any rear-guards. Both units complement each other’s abilities.

Finally, Dragon Dancer, Faja is a good card to play in the premium format. Her free ability to search for units is always a great ability. You are gaining a card without paying a cost. Her offense is a useful asset against any opponent. Dragon Dancer, Faja can hit your opponent’s vanguard or retire an opponent’s rear-guard by battle.

Overall, Dragon Dancer, Faja is a great card to play in a deck with Dragonic Blademaster. She adds consistency and a good amount of offense. She is a valuable card for her ability to search for Wyvern Strike, Doha and Wyvern Strike, Gara. Both versions of Dragonic Blademaster can consistently activate their skills to destroy the opponent’s field and create a powerful Vision Token. Dragon Dancer, Faja’s efficiency is a great reason to play three to four copies of her in your deck.
