Lightsworns call the legendary Judgment Dragon to the field to deliver victory. Judgment Dragon is one of the most popular and powerful cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! This card was introduced eleven years ago in Light of Destruction, and it had an immediate impact on the game. His skills are amazing, and puts the game in your favor. He continues to be the best card in his archetype’s deck.

Judgment Dragon is special summoned by having four or more Lightsworn monsters with different names in your graveyard. The requirement for this effect is easy to accomplish in one or two turns. Lightsworn monsters mill cards during your end phases. In additionally, you may play cards such as Solar Recharge to mill more cards from your deck. Then, special summon Judgment Dragon to the field!

Play these cards with Judgment Dragon

Judgment Dragon’s second effect destroys all other cards on the field. It is bested to use this ability when you do not have cards on the field. This effect sets up an OTK. Your opponent is nearly defenseless against your monsters. If you are able to special summon two Judgment Dragons on the  same turn, then you are going to win the game.

Furthermore, Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn is the perfect card to complement Judgment Dragon. Judgment Dragon is unable to destroy every card in the game. Certain cards such as cannot be destroyed by effects. This is where Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn comes into the game. Michael banishes these types of cards to remove them from your opponent’s field.

Combo 1: Judgment of Victory
  1. Special summon Judgment Dragon from your hand.
  2. Use Judgment Dragon’s effect to destroy all other cards on the field.
  3. Normal summon Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner to the field.
  4. Use Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner’s effect to special summon Raiden, Hand of the Lightsworn.
  5. Synchro Summon Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn from your extra deck!
  6. Special summon a second Judgment Dragon on the field.
  7. Attack your opponent directly for victory!

I recommend playing a complete set of three copies of Judgment Dragon in your deck. This card’s amazing effect dominates the competition. He is an easy to card to special summon. In addition, his ability to destroy all other cards on the field is very strong. It is the perfect finisher for the deck.
