Unit of The Week: Perfect Performance, Ange

With her appearance, the music scene of the world has been changed.

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC)[1/Turn] Generation Break 2:[Counter Blast (2) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] Choose any number of any players’ cards in any circle other than (VC), and return them to hand. This unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn for each card returned. If the number of cards returned is five or more, draw a card. If the number of cards returned is seven or more, this unit gets drive+1 until end of turn.

Bermuda Triangle should not be underestimated. The units are beautiful divas from the sea and they have powerful skills to overwhelm any opponent. Perfect Performance, Ange is an ace card. Ange delivers perfect performances at every live event! She wields the power of Generation Break 2 and has the potential to acquire quadruple drive!

Perfect Performance, Ange’s Generation Break sends any number cards in any circle other than the vanguard to any players’ hands and she gains 5,000 power for each card returned to the hand. If you returned five cards, then you may draw a card. If you return seven cards, then she gains an additional drive check. Her skills can be played in any Bermuda Triangle deck. She is not limited to a particular archetype.

Furthermore, Perfect Performance, Ange gains quadruple drive if you return up to seven cards their owners’ hands. The extra drive check gives players an extra opportunity to check a game changing trigger. This means you need to return at least two units on your opponent’s field to their hand. Try to avoid returning cards with a 10,000 shield. Limit your opponent’s defense to give your attack a greater chance to hit the opposing vanguard.

Finally, her ability is the perfect answer for Bermuda Triangle to counter the Star-vaders’ ability to lock units. The language in her skill bypasses the condition of locked units. Ange’s skill clearly states cards and not rear-guards. Locked cards are not considered rear-guards or units. They are locked cards. A circle becomes a locked circle after a unit is locked by an opponent. Ange returns cards to the hand and this is the key difference to allow her to bypass Link Joker.

Overall, Perfect Performance, Ange is the ultimate G-Unit for Bermuda Triangle. First, she returns units to the hand. Secondly, she gains 5,000 power for every card return to the hand. Thirdly, she has access to quadruple drive! I would play four copies of her if I had them. She would make my Chouchou deck stronger. Enjoy a perfect performance in a cardfight from Perfect Performance, Ange!
