Unit of The Week: Liberator of Bonds, Gancelot Zenith

He understands the power of bonds, as well as its value.

[AUTO](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (1)-card with “Liberator” in its card name & Choose one of your grade 2 or less rear-guards, and put it on the bottom of your deck] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, look at the top card of your deck, search for up to one «Gold Paladin» from among them, call it to an open (RC), and put the rest on the bottom of your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn.
[CONT](VC):If you have a card named “Solitary Liberator, Gancelot” in your soul, this unit gets [Power]+2000.
[CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)

Gancelot has once again taken his power to a new level. He is now the Liberator of Bonds, Gancelot Zenith, the Cross Break Ride unit for Solitary Liberator, Gancelot. He is the warrior who creates bonds with his allies to give strength and hope to Cray. The new bonds will help the Liberators banish Link Joker for their home. Gancelot Zenith is one of the very rare cards under an archetype that also supports the clan as a whole and not just his archetype.

Gancelot Zenith’s skill sends a rear-guard to the bottom of the deck to superior call the top card of the deck and gives 10K power to the new unit at the cost of one counter blast when he attacks a vanguard. This skill is fantastic for pushing for the win when combined with Solitary Liberator, Gancelot’s Break Ride skill. A total of 25K power will be given to rear-guards in a single turn. He also creates very 20K or stronger columns when his Limit Break superior calls strong units such as Liberator of Silence, Gallatin and Liberator of Royalty, Phallon. The best option to create strong columns is to send a resting front row rear-guard to the bottom of the deck for the new unit can attack. It should be noted that this occurs before Twin Drive so triggers’ effects can be given to the superior called unit; if Gancelot Zenith’s attack is unable to hit, then give the triggers to the fresh unit.

Furthermore, Gancelot Zenith’s Limit Break is much more forgiving for randomly superior calling triggers and very weak grade 1 units. The 10K power really makes up for a situation in which you superior call a weak trigger unit or grade 1 unit. This enables weaker units to hit Cross Rides and vanguards who may have received power from a trigger during combat.

Finally, I cannot discuss Gancelot Zenith without mentioning Blaster Blade Liberator! If you superior call Blaster Blade Liberator, then he can instantly retire an opponent’s front row rear-guard. He also becomes a 19K attacker after all skills are completed. He has more than enough power to push for the win.

Overall, Liberator of Bonds, Gancelot Zenith is a very solid card with a better version Gold Paladin’s strategy to superior call random units from the deck. His Limit Break has the potential to push for game by creating a very strong column for the finishing attack especially when it is activated with Solitary Liberator, Gancelot’s Break Ride skill. It’s time bond with Liberator of Bonds, Gancelot Zenith to liberate the world!
