Unit of The Week: Falling Hellhazard

(After a Set Order is played, put it into your Order Zone.)
[CONT]:When you would count the number of Meteorite cards put from your Order Zone into your drop for the cost of your vanguard’s ability, this card counts as two cards.
[AUTO]:When this card is put into your drop from the Order Zone, bind this card, choose one of your opponent’s rear-guards, and retire it.

Falling Hellhazard is a set order and meteorite from Cardfight!! Vanguard. It provides essential support to Gravidia Nordlinger. It is also a grade 2 card with two abilities.

D-Standard Format:

Falling Hellhazard is a grade 2 set order. You place it in the order zone on the field. It will not remain there for very long. Falling Hellhazard pays the cost of Gravidia Nordlinger’s second ability.

In addition, Gravidia Nordlinger places Falling Hellhazard on the field after you ride Gravidia Nordlinger. It is an effective method of placing an order on the field. You do not need it in your hand to play it. Gravidia Nordlinger searches the deck and places Falling Hellhazard on the field for you.

First Ability:

Falling Hellhazard counts as two cards when you send it to the drop zone for the cost of an ability. This complements Gravidia Nordlinger. It helps to unleash Gravidia Nordlinger’s full potential.

Therefore, Falling Hellhazard helps Gravidia Nordlinger to reach her goal of five meteorites. Two copies of Falling Hellhazard would count as four meteorites to the drop zone. You would only need one additional meteorite for the full potential of Gravidia Nordlinger.

Second Ability:

Falling Hellhazard retires an opponent’s rear-guard after you send it from the order zone to the drop zone. It builds the momentum from Gravidia Nordlinger. Your vanguard gains a powerful ability, and the opponent loses an important resource.

Furthermore, the opponent loses a key card for defense. This situation provides a major advantage on offense. The opponent has one less card for defense against Gravidia Nordlinger’s powerful attack.

Premium Format:

Falling Hellhazard only has synergy with Gravidia Nordlinger. You are unlikely to play this card in a deck outside of Gravidia Nordlinger. You would not gain any value from this card in any other type of deck.

Furthermore, Falling Hellhazard and Gravidia Nordlinger do not have strong values in the premium format. You are unlikely to activate their abilities often during games. G-Units provide better value than these cards.
