This unit has two powerful abilities. These abilities provide major advantages to Star-vaders in the V-Standard Format and Premium Format.
First Ability:
Bisection Star-vader, Zirconium forces the opponent to lock the top card of his or her deck. This ability has many advantages. It sets up Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon’s ability. Furthermore, the opponent loses access to a circle because a locked card does not have value.
In addition, you can gain a free card from this ability. Bisection Star-vader, Zirconium allows you to draw a card if the opponent places the locked card in the back row. The full benefits of this ability require perfect timing. The opponent needs two rear-guards in the front row to set up the extra draw.
Second Ability:
Bisection Star-vader, Zirconium changes your vanguard’s original critical to two if the opponent has a locked card. This ability complements Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon. You pressure the opponent to commit cards for blocking your vanguard’s attack. Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon can deal two damage with a single hit. You would near victory if your attack is successful.

Premium Format:
Bisection Star-vader, Zirconium is also a fantastic card for the premium format. His abilities elevate the Star-vaders to new levels. His first ability adds consistency to the archetype’s strategy. You always want to lock the opponent’s cards.
Furthermore, Bisection Star-vader, Zirconium has synergy with many cards from Link Joker from Cardfight!! Vanguard G. You can gain benefits if your opponent has a locked card. For example, Turmoil Star-vader, Zinc counter charges two cards and soul charges two cards if you opponent has a locked card.

Zeroth Dragon:
Bisection Star-vader, Zirconium has synergy with Zeroth Dragon of Destroy Star, Star. Their abilities complement each other. Zeroth Dragon of Destroy Star, Stark gains an additional critical to deal two points of damage. Therefore, you put a lot of pressure on the opponent. Zeroth Dragon of Destroy Star, Stark is able to attack three times in a single turn.
