If this card is Normal Summoned: You can send 1 other “Vampire” card from your hand or face-up field to the GY; add 1 Level 4 or higher “Vampire” monster from your Deck to your hand, and if you do, send 1 Level 2 or lower “Vampire” monster from your Deck to the GY. During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish this card from your GY and pay 500 LP; immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 “Vampire” monster. You can only use each effect of “Vampire Ghost” once per turn.

Vampire Ghost is a zombie and dark monster. This monster has two effects and 1,500 ATK. Vampire Ghost activates one of his two effects in the graveyard. This monster is a prefect addition to Vampire decks.

First Effect:

Vampire Ghost quickly gives access to your deck’s high level monsters. Vampire Ghost sends one Vampire from your hand or field to the graveyard, and you may add one level four or greater Vampire from the deck to your hand. You have many options from the deck. This effect has many combos to set up summons.

Therefore, Vampire Ghost is a great card for your opening hand. You have instant access to every card in your deck. Vampire Ghost sets the field and graveyard for strong combos.

For instance, one of the best monsters to send to your graveyard is Vampire Familiar. This monster may special summon itself from the graveyard. You have an additional resource for a summon.

Furthermore, Vampires have many options of monsters to add to your hand. The archetype has strong monsters with useful effects. This effect of Vampire Ghost may add cards such as Vampire Lord, Vampire Vamp, or Vampire Voivode to your hand.

Second Effect:

Vampire Ghost also has as quick effect from the graveyard. Vampire Ghost normal summons a monster from your hand during either player’s turn. The true value of this effect is normal summoning a monster during the opponent’s turn.

For instance, Vampire Voivode is a perfect card for this effect. Vampire Voivode special summons two of the opponent’s monsters for his or her graveyard. You gain three monsters with this amazing combo.

You may also create a strong combo with Vampire Ghost and Shadow Vampire. These vampires have perfect chemistry. Their effects work hand in hand. Shadow Vampire special summons a dark vampire from the hand or deck when you normal summon him. Vampire Ghost may normal summon Shadow Vampire and trigger this effect to special summon an additional monster to the field.

Vampire Ghost has a good amount of support. You can consistently play this card and create strong combos. Nearly every monster in the archetype has chemistry with this dark monster.

Vampire Awakening is a trap card with the effect of special summoning one vampire from the deck. Vampire Awakening may special summon Vampire Ghost. It is an effective method for setting up your field. You may proceed your strategy with Vampire Ghost’s effect.

Card Rating:

Overall, Vampire Ghost is a strong card for Vampires. He is one of the best cards to have in your hand. This monster sets up many powerful combos. You may also activate his second effect from the graveyard during the opponent’s turn. I recommend playing three copies of Vampire Ghost in your deck.
