You can only control 1 “Trickstar Divaridis”. If this card is Special Summoned: You can inflict 200 damage to your opponent. If your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s): Inflict 200 damage to your opponent.

Trickstar Divaridis is a Link Monster and fairy. Like many Trickstar monsters, Trickstar Divaridis inflicts damage to the opponent with her effects. She perfect fits in the strategy for the archetype. She impacts the game with her effects due to their consistently damage the opponent.

First Effect:

Trickstar Divaridis has balance with her first effect. You can only control one Trickstar Divaridis on the field. You must play other monsters if you want to summon additional monsters.

Konami placed this limitation to balance this monster. This effect prevents abuse of the second effect. Multiple copies of Trickstar Divaridis on the field would be unfair for opponents.

Second Effect:

Trickstar Divaridis inflicts 200 damage to the opponent when you special summon this Link Monster. She will always activate this effect. You need to special summon Link Monsters, and it is the only method for playing this type of monster.

In addition, this effect of Trickstar Divaridis can win the game if the opponent has 200 or less life points. A wise strategy is playing this card at this moment in the duel. An opponent would not be able to avoid it under most circumstances, and you will win the game.

Third Effect:

The biggest impact from Trickstar Divaridis is her third effect. She inflicts 200 damage to the opponent when he or she summons a monster. it is a consistent effect, and it affects all of the opponents’ summons.

This effect consistently damages the opponent. Summons are one of the basic mechanics in Yu-Gi-Oh!. Every deck summons monsters because monsters are one of the main types of cards.

Therefore, Trickster Divaridis can potentially inflict a decent amount of damage. Many decks special summons more than one monster and these combos special summon a monster from the extra deck. Trickstar Divaridis can potentially inflict 600 or more damage per turn when opponents special summon multiple monsters.
