Valkyrie Funfte provides support for Valkyrie. This effect monster has useful effects for your offense and setting up your combos with key cards. Her effects complement the archetype. Many cards in the archetype banish the opponent’s cards. Valkyrie Funfte provides benefits for the number of the opponent’s banished monsters.
First Effect:
Valkyrie Funfte adds 200 ATK for each of your opponent’s banished monsters to your monsters with Valkyrie in their names. This effect has strengthens your offense. Your monsters can inflict additional damage to the opponent.
For example, this effect adds 1,000 ATK to your monsters with Valkyrie in their names if you have banished five of the opponent’s monsters. Valkyrie Funfte would have 1,800 power in this situation. Your other Valkyries will pose a threat to the opponent.
Furthermore, Valkyrie Funfte complements Goddess Urd’s Verdict. This continuous spell card banishes an opponent’s set card. Goddess Urd’s Verdict fuels the ATK from this effect and removes key cards from the opponent.
Apple of Enlightenment is also a useful trap for Valkyrie. Apple of Enlightenment may banish the opponent’s cards and you may choose the opponent’s monsters. This strategy with this trap card has stellar synergy with Valkyrie Funfte.
Second Effect:
Valkyrie Funfte may send one spell or trap from the deck to your graveyard. This ability sets up plays with the right cards. Some spells and traps have effects with the abilities activating effects in the graveyard. You may consistently activate those abilities as if the graveyard is a second hand.
For example, an useful card to send to the graveyard for this effect is Ride of the Valkyries. Ride of the Valkyries is a spell card and you may banish it from the graveyard to add Mischief of the Time Goddess from the deck to your hand. Mischief of the Time Goddess is a powerful spell card for Valkyrie and you want it in your hand.

Valkyrie has solid support for Valkyrie Funfte. You can consistently play this card. Cards from the archetype may add this effect monster to your hand. Some cards provide protection from the opponent’s effects. Other cards may special summon this effect monster to the field.
Valkyrie Dritte may add this card from the deck to your hand. You can quick access to this effect monster. You may summon her for her effects to gain a quick advantage.
Goddess Urd’s Verdict provides protection for Valkyrie Funfte. Goddess Urd’s Verdict prevents the opponent’s effects from targeting and destroying your monsters with Valkyrie in their names. The opponent must destroy this effect monster by battle.

Overall, Valkyrie Funfte is a respectable card for Valkyrie. Her second effect adds value to this effect monster. Her combo with Ride of the Valkyries sets you for success. You consistently have a combo to add Mischief of the Time Goddess to your hand. Her first effect adds an offensive spark. Therefore, I recommend playing two or three copies of Valkyrie Funfte in your deck.
