Your opponent cannot target “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” in your Monster Zone with card effects. If this face-up card is sent from the Spell & Trap Zone to the GY: Destroy all monsters you control. You can only use the following effect of “True Light” once per turn. You can activate 1 of these effects;
● Special Summon 1 “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” from your hand or GY.
● Set 1 Spell/Trap directly from your Deck, that specifically lists “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” in its text, with a different name from the cards you control and in your GY.

True Light is a trap card for Blue-Eyes White Dragon. This trap is the Blue-Eyes White Dragon’s version of Eternal Soul for Dark Magician. This card provides a lot of advantages for its archetype. First Effect:

True Light prevents the opponent from targeting your Blue-Eyes White Dragons with card effects. This trap card protects the most important monsters in the deck. The opponent cannot easily target with an effect from a monster, spell, or trap.

Second Effect:

However, True Light’s weakness is its second effect. This trap destroys all of your monsters if this trap leaves the field to the graveyard. You may potentially lose multiple monsters.

Furthermore, this second effect of True Light is a major disadvantage. It causes all of your Blue-Eye White Dragons and other monsters to become vulnerable. An opponent can destroy this trap card for his or her strategy to destroy all of your monsters.

Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon protects True Light from the opponent’s effects. Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon prevents the opponent from destroying your other cards. It is a very important monster to have on the field with this trap card. It helps overcome this trap’s weakness.

The protection of this trap from Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon brings the full potential of this trap on the field. Therefore, I recommend playing one to three copies of True Light in your deck.
