You can only activate 1 “Spellbook of the Master” per turn.

Spellbook of the Master is a normal spell card. Its effect provides support for Spellbooks. You can play this card with any archetype of spellcasters.


Spellbook of the Master copies the effect of any normal Spellbook spell card in your graveyard. Spellbook of the Master basically allows players to reuse the same effects. There are a few options for this card. You can pick the best effect to gain an advantage during the duel.

Furthermore, the effect requires you to reveal a Spellbook in your hand. This requirement is not a disadvantage. The opponent most likely knows you have this card. You should only reveal a card that you have already added from the deck to your hand with a previous card.

Spellbook of Secrets is one of the best Spellbooks for this effect. It is one of the most consistent cards in the game. You can add any Spellbook from the deck to your hand. This effect allows you to gain a useful card. The effect also tins the deck.

Furthermore, Spellbook of Secrets allows you to get the best card for situations. Spellbook of Fate is a great option to add to your hand if you need to banish an opponent’s monster. Instant access to a particular card provides solutions against the opponent.

Copy: Spellbook of Knowledge

Spellbook of Knowledge allows you to draw two cards after sending a spellcaster or Spellbook spell card to the graveyard. It is a great card to copy its effect. You quickly gain access to the deck’s resources.

In addition, Spellbook of the Master requires a spellcaster on the field and the reveal of a Spellbook for its activation. You already meet the conditions for the effect of Spellbook of Knowledge. There are two options for the cost. You can may send any spellcaster or Spellbook to the graveyard for the cost.

Offense and resources are a great combination. Spellbook of Power adds 1,000 ATK to a spellcaster for one turn. In addition, it allows you to add a Spellbook from the deck to your hand for each monster that your spellcaster destroys. it is a useful card to copy its effects in a situation to empower your monster and destroy the opponent’s monster by battle.

Card Rating:

Overall, Spellbook of the Master is a powerful spell card. It enables you to reuse effects of your best cards in the archetype. A second chance with a powerful effect is a useful effect. I recommend playing two to three copies of Spellbook of the Master in your deck.
