Once per turn, when your opponent’s monster effect is activated, or when an opponent’s monster declares an attack (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; banish this card, also banish all cards your opponent controls. Once per turn, during your next End Phase after this card was banished by its own effect: Special Summon this banished card.

One of the best synchro monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! is Red Supernova Dragon. This card makes a massive impact on games. It has three powerful effects. This card has an ATK of 4,000 and protects itself from the opponent’s cards effects. Its best effect is banishing all of the opponent’s cards.

First Effect:

Red Supernova Dragon gains 500 ATK for each tuner in your graveyard, and this effect makes this card to be one of the strongest monsters in battle. This synchro monster quickly increases its original ATK. It can inflict massive damage in battle or from a director attack.

Furthermore, a deck with Red Supernova Dragon has many tuner monsters. Your graveyard should have at lease three tuner monsters in the graveyard. You will use thee of these cards for the summon of this synchro monster.

For example, Red Supernova Dragon gains a total of 2,500 ATK if your graveyard has a total of five tuner monsters. Therefore, the total ATK of Red Supernova Dragon becomes 6,500. This synchro monster can easily destroy nearly any monster in battle.

Second Effect:

Red Supernova Dragon cannot be destroyed by a card’s effect. This protection increases this card’s consistency. It poses a major problem for opponents because this synchro monster can inflict massive damage in battle. An opponent cannot use cards such as Mirror Force to destroy this card.

Furthermore, Red Supernova Dragon is a difficult monster to destroy. This effect protects it from card effects with effects to destroy cards, and this synchro monster has 4,000 ATK. Most monsters cannot destroy this card in battle.

However, this protection does not protect Red Supernova Dragon from cards banishing it from the field. Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the Beginning and Spellbook of Fate can banish this synchro monster from the field. They counters this card’s protection.

Third Effect:

Red Supernova Dragon banishes all of the opponent’s cards when the opponent’s monster activates an effect or declares an attack and this card banishes itself until your next end phase. This effect removes all of the opponent’s resources on the field from the game. This effect puts the opponent at a major disadvantage.

The effect with the ability to remove all of opponent’s cards has a major impact to the game. It clear the opponent’s field. You have the opportunity to win the game with multiple direct attacks.

Furthermore, Red Supernova Dragon returns to the field on your next end phase. Its temporary removal is worth the cost. You can activate this effect multiple times per turn.

In addition, this effect is a stronger version of Red Nova Dragon. Red Nova Dragon only negates an attack from an opponent’s monster. It is a nice effect for protection. Red Supernova Dragon provides a stronger effect due to it is the super version and it banishes all of the opponent’s cards.

Synchro Summon Red Supernova Dragon:

Red Supernova Dragon requires three tuner monsters and non-Tuner Synchro Monsters for a total of 12 levels. This synchro monster requires a lot of resources. The archetype of Red Dragon Archfiend is the best archetype for this card. You can play this card in any deck with tuner monsters and Synchro Monsters.
