When your opponent activates a card or effect that targets 1 Spellcaster monster you control (and no other cards), while this card is in your hand or GY (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of “Palladium Oracle Mana” once per turn. Level 7 or higher Spellcaster monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 “Dark Magician Girl” from your hand, Deck, or GY.
Decks with a normal monster for the deck’s strategy require a lot of solid support. Palladium Oracle Mana is an effect monster with effects to support the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. Palladium Oracle Mana provides useful effects for the Dark Magician. This effect monster provides protection and special summons one of the deck’s key monsters.
First Effect:
Palladium Oracle Mana special summons herself from your hand or graveyard to the field. You may special summon Palladium Oracle Mana when the opponent activates a card or effect that targets one of your spellcasters. This effect provides a free monster without a cost, and you activate this effect during either player’s turn.
Furthermore, monsters with the effect to special summon themselves have a lot of value. They save your resources. You do not need to pay a cost or tribute any monsters to special summon Palladium Oracle Mana.
In addition, Palladium Oracle Mana consistently special summons herself to the field. Many decks have cards with effects targeting one monster. You are very likely to activate this effect against many decks.
Second Effect:
Palladium Oracle Mana prevents effects from other cards destroying your level seven or higher spellcasters. Effects from the opponent’s monsters, spells, and traps cannot counter these spellcasters with effects. It provides protection and forces the opponent to use other tactics to destroy your monsters.
This effect provides protection for Dark Magician and Magician of Dark Illusion. The opponent cannot destroy these key monsters with effects when Palladium Oracle Mana is on your field.
Furthermore, Dark Magician is a normal monster. Normal monsters need this type of support with effects such as protection from effects. Palladium Oracle Mana is one of the many options for protection of the ultimate wizard in terms of attack and defense.
In addition, Palladium Oracle Mana maintains your presence on the field when the opponent destroys Eternal Soul. This effect protects your level seven monsters such as Dark Magician. Eternal Soul’s effect will destroy Palladium Oracle Mana, but you retain the Dark Magician on the field.

However, Palladium Oracle Mana does not protect herself and your other spellcasters below level seven on the field with her second effect. The opponent can target Palladium Oracle Mana with their card’s effects. You would lose your protection for the Dark Magician if the opponent destroys this effect monster.
Third Effect:
Palladium Oracle Mana special summons one Dark Magician Girl from your hand, deck or graveyard when Palladium Oracle Mana is destroyed. You get a free monster and maintain a presence on the field. Dark Magician Girl is a useful card for your fusion summons and you may use her for XYZ Summons of rank six.
Furthermore, Dark Magician Girl is a key card in the deck because she is fusion material. You want her on the field. You only need her and The Eye of Timaeus to special summon The Dark Magicians from the extra deck.
Rank Six:
You may use Palladium Oracle Mana as XYZ material for Rank Six XYZ monsters. She has the proper level for this type of special summon. Many monsters in the Dark Magician (archetype) are level six and you can easily set up XYZ summons.
For instance, you may use Dark Magician Girl and Palladium Oracle Mana as XYZ material for Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal. Both of these effect monsters are level six. They are the perfect material in a deck of the Dark Magician for the XYZ summon of Magi Magi ☆ Magician Gal.

Palladium Oracle Mana has consistent and useful support. Dark Magician, generic cards, and Spellbooks have great support for spellcasters. You may special summon this card with these cards. Some support provides protection from the opponent’s effects. You may also increase this monster’s ATK with the proper cards.
Many cards may special summon Palladium Oracle Mana from your graveyard. Magicians’ Defense and Spellbook of Life special summon spellcasters from the graveyard. They regain access to your spellcasters in the graveyard. You may activate the effects of these cards to special summon Palladium Oracle Mana from your graveyard.
In addition, Spellbook of Wisdom protects Palladium Oracle Mana from your opponent’s spells or traps for one turn. The opponent cannot easily destroy her and remove her second effect from the field. This effect of Spellbook of Wisdom provides protection for Palladium Oracle Mana.

Card Rating:
Overall, Palladium Oracle Mana is a good card for the Dark Magician. Any card with an effect of protection for a normal monster has decent value in an archetype. I recommend playing one or two copies of Palladium oracle Mana in your deck. She is an easy monster to special summon and the protection from her is a valuable effect.
