Regalia is Genesis’s first archetype. They were released during the Limit Break format, and continued to receive new cards in the Legion format. Bushiroad has done a fantastic job at making legacy support. Regalia received a lot of good cards from Divine Arpchyo. Regalia of Crimson, Muspell is one of two new G-Units for Regalia. She is a single R. You should not have a difficult time pulling a copy.
Ultimate Regalia of Crimson, Muspell’s skill Soul Blasts any number of cards and one of your rear-guards for each Soul Blast gains 4,000 power until end of your turn. This skill does not stack. You are not allowed to choose the same rear-guard for each Soul Blast. Spread the power among the rear-guards. Give the power to the rear-guards in the front row and your rear-guard behind the vanguard.
Furthermore, the final part of her skill generates a resource. If you Soul Blast three or more cards, than you draw a card or Counter Charge a card in the damage zone. She is one of the few cards with the ability to Counter Charge for Regalia. I will most likely Counter Charge a card because Regalia has a lot of cards with the ability to draw a card. This strategy gives me more resources to pay for my skills of drawing extra cards.
Finally, Regalia has plenty of cards to support Ultimate Regalia of Crimson, Muspell. You need to play cards with abilities to soul charge. Regalia of Wisdom, Angelica is the perfect heart for Muspell. Her skill puts one card into your soul. You will always have at least one card to Soul Blast to power up one rear-guard.
Play these cards with Ultimate Regalia of Crimson, Muspel!
- Regalia of Wisdom, Angelica
- Regalia of Abundance, Freyja
Overall, Ultimate Regalia of Crimson, Muspell is definitely a good card for your first G-unit. I am playing a full set of her in my Regalia deck. Ultimate Regalia of Crimson, Muspell and Regalia of Abundance, Freyja make an awesome tag-team. Both ladies gather resources, Muspell can refuel your Counter Blasts to use more skills. Regalia’s resurgence in Vanguard has once again made it a really good deck.
