If you do, choose one of your rear-guards with “Я” in its card name, the unit that is being attacked during that battle changes to that unit, and all of your guardians guard that unit.
Star-vader Chaos Breaker Dragon is a cruel and wicked leader. He created a squadron of cyborgs named Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium to scout Cray. Some of them were defeated during the invasion and Chaos Breaker Dragon erased their original programming to redesign them. Their only purpose in life now is to protect Star-vader, “Omega” Glendios. They will remain motionless in battle until Omega is attacked. These robotic puppets will act as a shield to protect Omega at all costs even if it costs them their lives.
Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium is Star-vader, “Omega” Glendios’s best defensive card. When Rubidium is placed on the guardian circle, Rubidium redirects attacks directed at Omega to Reverse rear-guards. The skill does not cost any Counter Blasts or discarding cards. The player will only lose the Reverse unit. However, losing the Reverse unit is not a problem. Star-vader, Ruin Magician can return the Reverse unit from the drop zone to the hand. This simply makes Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium a cost effective perfect guard without the requirement to discard a card.
Furthermore, lock is already an excellent defensive mechanic. Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium just makes it even more difficult to hit “Omega” Glendios. It just becomes so much easier to defend when there are only one or two attackers. “Omega” Glendios can become untouchable for multiple turns with a triangular omega lock and copies of Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium in hand.
Finally, Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium, Star-vader, Rejection Dragon, and Star-vader, Ruin Magician are a fantastic trio. Rubidium will act as the perfect guard. Rejection Dragon can protect “Omega” Glendios from rear-guards, and it can also put Reverse units into the drop zone. This is where Ruin Magician will work her magic! Ruin Magician will return the Reverse units from the drop zone to the hand.
In conclusion, Taboo Star-vader, Rubidium is one of the best and unique defensive units. Redirecting attacks at no cost is simply unheard of in this game. She is Star-vader, “Omega” Glendios’s perfect defense. Nearly nothing can prevent her perfect defense. An opponent’s vanguard’s attack will not go through. That is the rule in Omega Glendios’s game!
