Stay back, all of you! I’ll handle it here!

[CONT](RC):This unit gets [Power]+5000 for each of your additional (RC).
[ACT](VC/RC)1/Turn:COST [Soul Blast (1) & [Rest] two rear-guards], and draw a card.

One of the best rear-guards for Aqua Force is Pursuit Assault. This grade 2 unit is the perfect package for clan. He has two consistent abilities with great benefits. Pursuit is a strong attacker due to his first ability, and he is a resourceful card for Aqua Force due to his second ability.

First Ability:

A great offense from Aqua Force should include a strong and offensive rear-guard, and Pursuit Assault is the perfect unit to fulfill the clan’s need. Pursuit Assault gains 5,000 power for each of your Accel markers. This ability is a great skill because it is consistent, powerful, and easy to fulfill for Aqua Force. You may build powerful column or circle with Pursuit Assault because Aqua Force generates many Accel markers.

Therefore, you gain a lot of momentum on offense from Pursuit Assault. This unit’s power quickly rises to new heights. The total power of Pursuit Assault increases to 24,000 if you have three Accel markers.

In addition, an Accel marker is the perfect circle for Pursuit Assault. He gains additional power on this circle. Pursuit Assault gains 10,000 power from Accel I and 5,000 power from Accel II. For instance, three Accel markers and Pursuit Assault’s placement on an Accel II marker increases Pursuit Assault’s power to 29,000.

Second Ability:

Pursuit Assault is also an engine for your resources. Pursuit Assault rests two of your rear-guards and you may draw a card. The additional draw helps Aqua Force to quickly gain access to its resources. You may draw a key card for your strategy.

This ability is Aqua Force’s best option for gaining resources. You add additional card to your hand. You may call this unit for additional offense or save the card for defense.

Furthermore, the cost for this ability is not a major problem. You are resting units before the battle phase, but Pursuit Assault gains power for each of your Accel markers. He does not need a boost for a strong attack.

Support:

Pursuit Assault is a generic unit. His abilities benefit all archetypes from Aqua Force. You can play him in a variety of decks such as Maelstrom and Ripple.

Pursuit Assault perfectly complements the style of Last Card, Revonn (V Series). Last Card, Revonn (V Series) wants your rear-guards at rest because this grade 3 unit gains 15,000 power, an additional drive check, and a critical. Pursuit Assault sets up this ability for this grade 3 vanguard when you activate the second effect of Pursuit Assault to draw a card.

Pursuit Assault is also a useful card in Ripple. Thundering Ripple, Genovious (V Series) stands all of your rear-guards for a wave of attacks. Pursuit Assault has fantastic offense and pressures the opponent with two attacks. In addition, Thunder Ripple Genovious (V Series) stands your units and offsets the cost of resting units for Pursuit Assault’s second ability to draw a card.
