[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[AUTO](VC) Generation Break 2 Darkness (This ability is active if cards have been put into your soul during this turn):[Counter Blast (1)] When this unit attacks, you may pay the cost. If you do, put all of your rear-guards into your soul, and this unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of that battle. If the number of cards in your soul is ten or more, retire all of your opponent’s rear-guards, and if the number of cards in your soul is fifteen or more, until end of that battle, your opponent cannot call cards with the sentinel ability from hand to (GC).
One Steeped in Sin, Scharhrot is Scharhrot Vampir’s evolution. He is one of the few evolution cards that do not require his previous form as a heart. He can be played in any Dark Irregulars deck. This card is played by Satoru Enishi. One Steeped in Sin, Scharhrot made his first appearance in Cardfight!! Vanguard G episode 47 True Feelings.
One Steeped in Sin, Scharhrot’s skill is active when Darkness is online. You must put all of your rear-guards into your soul and Scharhrot gains 10,000 power. You may retire all of your opponent’s rear-guards if you have ten cards or more in your soul. Both players lose all of their rear-guards. This tactic is useful against Aqua Force and Nova Grapplers. Neither clan have efficient methods to superior call rear-guards. The power bonus is much needed as you do not have a booster.
Furthermore, he has a third skill. It can be very nasty in the late game. Your opponent cannot defend his or her vanguard with a Sentinel if your soul is fifteen or more. The attack is very difficult to defend against. However, your opponent can block the attack with a G-Guardian and units without sentinel from his or her hand. This skill is not unstoppable and is healthy for the game.
Finally, Dark Irregulars have many units to help stack the soul. Dark Irregulars often rely on the soul to use their abilities. Squallmaker Vampir is one of the best cards for soul charging. He soul charges two cards. You can soul charge up to four cards if you have two copies of him on the field. There are other useful options such as Flirtatious Succubus.
Overall, One Steeped in Sin, Scharhrot is a powerful card to use during the late game. You need to properly time his attack when your opponent is weaken. He does not require Scharhrot Vampir to be your heart. You may play him in every Dark Irregular deck. I expect him to be used in most Dark Irregular decks. Embrace the darkness and your sins with One Steeped in Sin, Scharhrot.
