Knight of Noble Grit, Aval is a rear-guard for decks with Alden. Both of his abilities activate effects when he is a rear-guard. He belongs in the main deck and is not a good fit for the ride deck.
Furthermore, Knight of Noble Grit, Aval has standard stats for a grade two unit. He has 10,000 power and 5,000 shield. His ability increases his power when you meet the conditions.
First Ability:
Knight of Noble Grit, Aval gains 5,000 power and boost when you have a vanguard with Alden in its name. This ability provides two strategies for this rear-guard. You may place him in the front row because he can hit an opponent’s vanguard without a boost. On the other hand, you may place Knight of Noble Grit, Aval in the back row, and he will be a booster for a rear-guard in the front row.
Furthermore, Knight of Noble Grit, Aval is a strong rear-guard in the front row. You can create a strong column with this unit. A good booster in the back row for this rear-guard can create an attack with a high amount of power.
In addition, Knight of Noble Grit, Aval provides 15,000 power when he boosts a unit in the front row. He is a strong rear-guard behind any unit. He may boost the vanguard or any rear-guards in the front row.
Second Ability:
Knight of Noble Grit, Aval goes into the soul and adds one grade three unit among the five cards without Regalis Piece from the top of the deck. This ability serves two key purposes. First, it can add a copy of the vanguard to your hand, and you are in position for a persona ride during your next turn. Second, this rear-guard builds the soul, and your units may pay the cost of their skills with soul blasts.
Furthermore, Knight of Noble Grit, Aval increases the consistency for a persona ride. You want a copy of your vanguard with Alden in its name. You can ride the vanguard on the next turn and activate persona ride.
In addition, Sword That Connects Heaven and Earth, Alden requires to pay a soul blast for both of his abilities. Knight of Noble Grit, Aval can become the fuel for one of these abilities. Your soul gains one card, and Sword That Connects Heaven and Earth, Alden may pay the cost for one of his skills.
