Unit of The Week: Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC) Generation Break 3:[Counter Blast (2)] If you have a heart card with “Chronojet” in its card name, search your deck for up to two cards with “Chronojet” in its card name that have a different card name as each other, call them to separate (RC), shuffle your deck, and until end of turn, they get “[AUTO](RC):[Choose this unit and one of your other rear-guards with “Chronojet” in its card name, put them into your soul] When this unit’s attack hits a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, [Stand] all of your vanguards.”.

Chronojet Dragon has gained a lot of new support in recent months. This should be expected because Chrono is the main characters and he plays Gear Chronicles. Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon is one of the new units for Chronojet Dragon. He requires the original Chronojet Dragon and Chronojet Dragon G. He is able to bend time and space with Chronojet Dragon’s amazing power.

Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon’s skill superior calls two different cards with Chronojet in their names and Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon can stand if a Chronojet rear-guard’s attack hits a vanguard. Chronojet Dragon and Chronojet Dragon G are the only two cards available for this skill. You will need to time this attack just right to give yourself a chance to use it. Prepare your Chronojet Dragons to attack with a lot of power. Give your trigger’s effects to one of your Chronojet Dragons to boost their power.

The skill’s best benefit is you do not need to discard any cards to pay the cost. You will gain six cards from your drive checks. You defenses will be strong if your opponent survives two attacks from Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon. Chronodragon Nextage is a similar card. However, it requires you to discard cards to have a second attack from your vanguard. Chronodragon Nextage does not require an unit’s attack to be successful. You may use its skill after it attacks a vanguard.

However, Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon has a major flaw. One of your Chronojet Dragons will need to hit your opponent’s vanguard to trigger the skill. Your opponent can easily avoid the skill in many ways. The most obvious method to avoid the skill is to block both attacks from the Chronojet Dragons. The second method works for Kagero. Kagero’s G-Guardian Flame Wing Steel Beast, Denial Griffin retires an attacking rear-guard. Losing Chronojet Dragon will prevent you from using the skill because the skill requires two Chronojet Dragons to go to the soul.

Overall, Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon is just one of the cards that appear to be cool on television. The skill is amazing if you are able to use it during a game. Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon’s ability will only work against certain clans and you must time it perfectly. I would rather play Chronodragon Nextage because I am guaranteed to have a vanguard to attack twice in a turn. Unleash the Chronojet Dragons with Interdimensional Dragon, Crossover Dragon!
