Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” is one of the legendary cards from Cardfight!! Vanguard: Link Joker. His first appearance sent shockwaves through the community. Bushiroad has brought back this amazing card. Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” (V Series)  has three abilities with resemblances of the original card.

Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” continues the tradition of multiple attacks. Most Overlords have the ability to stand for an additional attack. it is the the archetype’s strategy to pressure the opponent. A wave of attacks from a single vanguard can win many games.

First Ability:

Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” locks all of your rear-guards and he stands after his first attack of the turn. He has a minimum of two attacks per turn. Two attacks increase the opportunities for triggers, and it forces the opponent to heavily guard your attacks.

Furthermore, Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” is the centerpiece in his deck. He is your only offensive unit when he becomes your vanguard. All of your other rear-guards are locked. You depend on this single card with multiple attacks for offense.

Second Ability:

One of Kagero’s specialties is controlling the field. Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” checks this box with his second ability. This mighty vanguard retires an opponent’s rear-guard for every two locked cards when he attacks the opponent. It is a strong combination of offense and removing an opponent’s resource.

Furthermore, you may activate this ability more than once during your turn. Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” retires three of the opponent’s rear-guards in a single turn. Each attack from Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” triggers this ability.

Third Ability:

Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” may stand for an additional attack. You must have five locked rear-guards and your damage zone must have four or more cards. It is a useful ability in the late game. The additional attack allows you to check for additional triggers for power and a critical trigger to deal additional damage.

Furthermore, this ability puts intense pressure on the opponent. All of the momentum is in your favor at this moment. Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth” has a lot of power from force markers and triggers. This attack can seal the deal for your victory.

In addition, you gain an Imaginary Gift: Force if you have five locked rear-guards. This ability strengthens Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth”, and it is a major need because you are unable to boost your vanguard in this case. Imaginary Gift: Force I is the best choice to give power to Dragonic Overlord “The Яe-birth”.
