Dark Bond Trumpeter is a new Shadow Paladin from V Booster Set 04: Vilest! Deletor. She calls the troops into battle. It is a new version of Revenger, Dark Bond Trumpeter. Their skills are similar, but the new card is a better card than the original card. In addition, Dark Bond Trumpeter is a grade 2 card and has two skills.

Dark Bond Trumpeter’s first skill superior calls a rear-guard with 5,000 power. This skill is designed to gather resources for Phantom Blaster Dragon and Gust Blaster Dragon. Your new rear-guard will be retired to pay the cost for the vanguard’s skills. Furthermore, this skill helps reserve cards in your hand. You may play these cards for additional offense or defense.

  • Skull Witch, Nemain

Dark Bond Trumpeter has synergy with a few grade one units. You are able to gain more resources with those units. The best combo is superior calling Black-winged Swordbreaker. You gain two cards from this combo. Furthermore, the card that you draw is an additional resource to pay the cost of skills.

  1. Call Dark Bond Trumpeter, and use her skill.
  2. Superior call Black-winged Swordbreaker from your deck.
  3. Black-winged Swordbreaker’s skill activates, and you draw one card.

Finally, Dark Bond Trumpeter only has 9,000 power. The second skill makes up for the lack of original power. Dark Bond Trumpeter gains 3,000 power when a rear-guard with 5,000 power is called to the field. She quickly becomes a strong rear-guard after two or more rear-guards are called on the field. Her power rises to 19,000 when you call two rear-guards with 5,000 power.

Overall, Dark Bond Trumpeter is a good card for Shadow Paladins. Her skills add advantages across your field. The best combo is with Black-winged Swordbreaker.
