First Effect:
Cubic Magus strengthens your hand and builds the soul. Cubic Magus allows you to look at the top two cards of the deck. You may rearrange them in any order and draw a card for the cost of sending a rear-guard with Magus in its name to the soul.
This ability gives quick access to your best cards and potentially stacks a trigger on top of the deck. The best strategy for this ability is placing a useful card on top of the deck and a trigger below it. One of your drive checks will reveal a trigger if you are able to place one on the deck.
Furthermore, this effect fuels the cost of your other units’ abilities because Cubic Magus sends one of your rear-guards to the soul. Many units with Magus in their names use the soul for the cost of their abilities. It is essential to have a good amount of cards in your soul.
For example, Cubic Magus enables you to ride Pentagonal Magus (V Series) for your first grade 3 vanguard. You may send a grade 3 rear-guard to the soul. Pentagonal Magus (V Series) now has the fuel for her second ability and Pentagonal Magus (V Series) unleashes five drive checks in battle!
Second Ability:
Cubic Magus is a rear-guard with the ability to stand herself. She creates her own offense with two battles in a single turn. You will have a total of four attacks for the turn with her on the field.
In addition, this ability requires you to have six units with Magus in their names. This requirement is a very easy condition to fulfill. Magus has many units, and you can consistently activate this ability of Cubic Magus.
Furthermore, Cubic Magus has the potential to create a strong offense with attacks. The second ability complements Pentagonal Magus (V Series). The five drive checks may reveal one or more triggers. You may add the power and effects to Cubic Magus. Pentagonal Magus increases the power of triggers to 15,000, and one trigger raises Cubic Magus’s power to 24,000.

Cubic Magus has synergy with many units from Magus. She offers consistency of abilities and provides resources. Due to this card requiring the archetype, you can only get the full potential of this card in a pure deck with Magus. The archetype has effective combos with this card.
Cubic Magus provides consistency for Fusilli Magus. Cubic Magus builds the soul with her first ability. You have a key resource for the cost of your abilities. Fusilli Magus uses the soul for her ability and you have the resource for the cost.

Cubic Magus is an effective rear-guard in the Premium Format, and she needs to be in a pure deck for Magus. She provides an additional attack and she allows you to draw a card. The additional draw builds your hand and provides quick access to your resources.
Sterling Witch, MoMo is a fantastic G-Unit with a great ability and this G-Unit complements Cubic Magus. Sterling Witch, MoMo adds 10,000 power to three of your units in the front row. The additional 10,000 power increases Cubic Magus’s power to 19,000. Cubic Magus attacks the opponent twice in this turn, and she can put some pressure on the opponent.

Overall, Cubic Magus is the perfect grade 2 unit for Magus. She provides resources and a respectable offense. Her value is her first ability for you may draw a card and she builds the soul. You have the two most important resources for Magus. I recommend playing four copies of Cubic Magus in your deck.
