Many of the best cards in Cardfight!! Vanguard are Aichi Sendou’s cards. The main protagonists in anime about trading card games tend to have the best cards. Aichi Sendou has impressive decks in every season. He plays Gold Paladin, Royal Paladin, and Link Joker.
Furthermore, Aichi Sendou’s signature card is Blaster Blade. They have share a special bond. He plays many versions of Cray’s legendary hero.
I have ranked the top ten cards in Aichi’s Sendou’s decks. I have only considered cards from Aichi Sendou’s decks from the anime and manga. This list is just an opinion for fun.
1. Blaster Blade (V Series)
Blaster Blade is the heart and soul of Aichi’s decks. He is the engine for many strategies, and his specialty is retiring the opponent’s rear-guards. Therefore, Blaster Blade is the best card in Aichi decks.
Blaster Blade played a role in the original anime and the reboot. This legendary card is a main character in the game’s rich lore. Blaster Blade made an appearance in many episodes of Aichi’s games. There are many versions of the character in Aichi’s decks.
Furthermore, Blaster Blade is the most important card in most of Aichi’s decks. Blaster Blade has synergy with most cards on this list. You can play powerful plays with amazing potential. You can gain drive checks with Blaster Blade on the rear-guard circle with Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver. Blaster Blade can stand after battle with Floral Paladin, Flogal.
2. Holy Divine Knight, Gancelot Peace Saver
Holy Divine Knight, Gancelot Peace Saver is one of Aichi’s strongest cards in the series. He only played this G-Unit once in a friendly game with Kouji Ibuki. It is a shame that we did not see this card again during Cardfight!! Vanguard G.
Furthermore, Holy Divine Knight, Gancelot Peace Saver has an amazing ability with a lot of advantages. He counter charges a card in the damage zone, and he has four drive checks. You gain a lot of resources from this ability.
In addition, Holy Divine Knight, Gancelot Peace Saver provides protection for Blaster Blade. An opponent cannot retire him or lock him with any of their effects during your turn. Powerful cards such as Flame Wing Steel Beast, Denial Griffin cannot retire Blaster Blade to avoid his incoming attack.
3. Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver
Aichi played new versions of his units from his original deck in Cardfight!! Vanguard G. His signature G-Unit was Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver. The ability of Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver instantly swung games in Aichi’s favor. He always won games when he activated this ability.
Furthermore, Divine Knight King, Alfred Holy Saver is a strong card for decks with Blaster Blade. This card’s ability allows Blaster Blade to have twin drive as a rear-guard. You have five drive checks in a single turn.
The dynamic duo of Alfred and Blaster Blade put a lot of pressure on opponents. You can swing multiple attacks with Blaster Blade when you play Floral Paladin, Flogal. You would only gain the twin drive from the first attack.
4. Solitary Knight, Gancelot (V Series)
Aichi had a trump card in his deck for his match against Kai in Cardfight!! Vanguard 2019 Highschool Arc. Kai was pushing Aichi on the edge of defeat with multiple attacks from the mighty Dragonic Overlord the End. The match was far from over. Aichi turned the game in his favor when he rode Solitary Knight, Gancelot for his trump card.
Solitary Knight, Gancelot adds a lot of value to Blaster Blade in the V-Standard format. You have three vanguards in the front row, and Blaster Blade gains 10,000 power. All of them have drive checks.
Therefore, you have a total of four drive checks in a single turn. This advantages provides two important benefits. You have more opportunities for triggers, and this ability increases your hand’s size for defense.
5. Messianic Lord Blaster (V Series)
The most powerful grade 3 Blaster in Aichi Sendou’s decks in Cardfight!! Vanguard V is Messianic Lord Blaster. Aichi played this amazing card in his epic game to save both worlds from Link Joker. Messianic Lord Blaster is Blaster Blade with the power of Harmonics Messiah. Aichi sealed his victory with a blaze of glory with Messianic Lord Blaster’s attack at full potential. This scene was one of the best moments of Cardfight!! Vanguard V.
Messianic Lord Blaster is a strong card with the potential to quickly win games. This unit’s critical becomes six if you have five rear-guards of Blasters with different names. In addition, Messianic Lord Blaster gains the power of those units. He swings a powerful attack that commands a perfect guard to block him.
Furthermore, Messianic Lord Blaster is an amazing card in the premium format. You search for this card with Wingal Brave. Holy Dragon, Crystaluster Dragon is a G-Unit with the ability to copy the abilities of Messianic Lord Blaster.
6. Great Flash, Iseult
Cardfight!! Vanguard is known for its offensive play. A great player also adds a strong defense in his or her deck. A great defense wins championships, and Aichi knows the value of good defense. He plays the Great Flash, Iseult. This card is a powerful G Guardian with a strong shield. Aichi played Great Flash. Iseult during a game against Chrono in the 27th episode of Cardfight!! Vanguard G NEXT.
Great Flash, Iseult is a G Guardian with a strong defense. She can generate a 40,000 shield if you have five rear-guards. Therefore, a shield of its size can block some of the strong attacks in the game.
Furthermore, Great Flash, Iseult is a great option for defense when you do not have a perfect guard. You only need to discard a heal trigger to play her. Great Flash, Iseult’s large shield can defend your vanguard.
7. Star-vader, Blaster Joker
Aichi Sendou played Link Joker during the Cardfight!! Vanguard: Legion Mate. Aichi’s signature card in the deck was Star-vader, Blaster Joker. The Star-vaders corrupted Blaster Blade, and he became the vile Star-vader, Blaster Joker. Aichi played this card during his epic game against Kai.
Star-vader, Blaster Joker was one of the strongest and most disruptive cards from his format. This card in Legion countered nearly every deck in its format. Star-vader, Blaster Joker’s ability locks all of the opponent’s rear-guards and retires the opponent’s legion mate.
Therefore, an opponent would lose Legion, and the same card with Legion cannot activate the mechanic twice. They would lose a lot of power, due to the ability of Star-vader, Blaster Joker. An opponent would have needed to ride a new copy of his or her vanguard.
8. Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred
One of the most iconic moments in the anime is Aichi’s victory against the agent and Star-vader, “Omega” Glendios. All hope seemed to be lost until Aichi rode Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred. The tide of the game instantly changed. Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred’s Limit Break returned Aichi’s locked units the deck and superior called new allies to the field. Then, Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred dealt the final point of damage for Aichi’s victory.
Liberators had one of the few answers for Link Joker. Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred’s Limit Break to unlock units was a valuable ability for its format. Players could play normally without Link Joker disrupting their strategy.
Furthermore, Liberator, Monarch Sanctuary Alfred gained another ability with Blaster Blade Liberator. He gains 10,000 power and an additional critical when you superior called Blaster Blade Liberator from the deck. This ability added more pressure on the opponent with your new field of units.
9. Blaster Arrow
Protection for rear-guards is a valuable ability for every clan. Aichi plays Blaster Arrow in Cardfight!! Vanguard V. This useful card does not allow the opponent to target your units with effects if you have six Blasters with different names.
Furthermore, Blaster Arrow’s ability is a form of resistance for all of your units. An opponent cannot lock or retire your units with effects. An opponent also cannot lower your vanguard’s power with any effects.
10. Wingal Brave
Wingal Brave is the best starter in Aichi’s decks. Aichi played this card in the first season of Cardfight!! Vanguard. This cute dog provides consistency to Blaster decks. Wingal Brave was a perfect fit for Aichi’s deck with Majesty Lord Blaster.
Wingal Brave is still a good starter in today’s game because Wingal Brave can add any Blaster from the deck to your hand. You can consistently add the right card to your hand. Blasters have a large library of cards. Wingal Brave can add Blaster Blade (V Series), Majesty Lord Blaster (V Series), Blaster Rapier, and other cards from the deck to your hand.
Final Word:
As shown above, these cards are the top ten cards in Aichi Sendou’s decks. They have powerful and useful abilities. Some of these cards are still commonly played in today’s decks in the premium format.
Furthermore, he played amazing cards for Gold Paladin, Royal Paladin, and Link Joker. Each of these clans have at least one version of Blaster Blade. Aichi is always playing his favorite unit.
This list is purely my opinion. Your favorite cards may not have made the list. Please share your opinion of the top ten cards in Aichi Sendou’s decks.
