Once per turn, if your other “Lightsworn” monster’s effect is activated: Send the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY.

Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman is the dark counterpart of Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner. These effect monsters have the same ATK and DEF. Both cards have similar effects. The dark attribute of Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman reflects itself in her theme. She special summons your banished monsters with Lightsworn in their names.

First Effect:

Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman special summons a banished monster with Lightsworn in its name. The cost is banishing a monster with Lightsworn in its name from the hand or graveyard. The source of the cost depends on your strategy and the current situation of the game.

Therefore, Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman provides access to any of your banished monsters with Lightsworn in their names. You can used the zone for banished cards like a second hand. You can special any monster  with Lightsworn in its name except for a copy of this spellcaster.

In addition, Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman sets up the special summon of Punishment Dragon. Punishment Dragon requires four or more banished Lightsworns with different names for his special summon. This effect monster banishes a card once per turn.

Second Effect:

Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman sends the top three cards of the deck to the graveyard when the effect of another monster with Lightsworn in its name activates an ability. You can activate this ability once per turn. This effect sets up your combos.

Furthermore, Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman consistently activates this effect. Many monsters with Lightsworn in their names send the top cards of the deck to the graveyard. You should consistently meet this condition for your advantage.

In addition, Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman sets up the special summon of Judgment Dragon. Judgment Dragon requires four different monsters with Lightsworn in their names in the graveyard. This spellcaster can potential send up to three different monsters with Lightsworn in their names from the top of the deck to the graveyard.

Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman also has synergy with Felis, Lightsworn Archer and Wulf, Lightsworn Beast. Both of these beast-warriors special summon themselves when they are sent to the graveyard. The effect of Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman will special summon Felis, Lightsworn Archer and Wulf, Lightsworn Beast if the effect sends them to the graveyard.

Extra Deck Material:

Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman has limitations for the material of monsters from the extra deck for Lightsworn. This limitation is due to her attribute of dark. You can only use Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman as material for Minerva, the Athenian Lightsworn.

For instance, you may use Lumina Twilightsworn Shaman, Minerva Lightsworn Maiden, and Ryko Lightsworn Hunter as materials for the synchro summon of Minerva, the Athenian Lightsworn. The total levels from all three effect monsters equal eight. You have one of the archetype’s best cards on the field.

Support:

Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman has good support from Lightsworn. This effect monster is a member of Lightsworn and the sub-archetype of Twilightsworn. She has a large library of support. She has synergy with many cards in the archetype. You can easily add this effect monster to the hand. This effect sets up the special summons of Judgment Dragon and Punishment Dragon.

Many cards can search for Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman. Charge of the Light Brigade and March of the Dark Brigade may add this card to your hand. These cards provide consistent access to this effect monster. You may play these spells to add Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman to the hand.
