Unit of The Week: Transcending the Heavens, Altmile

If the heavens should stand in my way, I shall surpass the heavens.

[Stride]-Stride Step-[Choose one or more cards with the sum of their grades being 3 or greater from your hand, and discard them] Stride this card on your (VC) from face down.
[ACT](VC)[1/Turn] Generation Break 2:[Counter Blast (1) & Choose a face down card from your G zone, and turn it face up] If you have a heart card with “Altmile” in its card name, this unit gets “[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, search your deck for up to one grade 2 card, call it to (RC), shuffle your deck, and that unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of turn.” and “[CONT](VC):During your turn, all of the units in your front row get [Power]+2000 for each face up card named “Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile” in your G zone.”.

Blue Sky Knight, Altmile has finally transcended the heavens! His powers have reached new heights through Stride Generation! Transcending the Heavens, Altmile was not born in the United Sanctuary. A few comrades were not fond of him being a foreigner. However, their hearts changed in recent years. Altmile proved  he is worthy of being a Royal Paladin.

Transcending the Heavens, Altmile has a Generation Break 2 and his skill requires an Altmile to be vanguard’s heart. It activates when he attacks a vanguard. The costs one counter blast and any G-Unit must be turned face up. The first part of his Generation Break superior calls a grade 2 card from your deck. This skill’s sole purpose is to help complete your formation.

Furthermore, there are many great units to superior call. Knight of Twin Sword is on top of my list of grade 2 units. The Knight of Twin Sword can superior another unit for an additional attack. Blaster Blade is another good option to superior call. He can retire an opposing rear-guard. You can superior call Knight of Twin Sword and use his skill to unleash Blaster Blade. Hopesong Angel is a good target if you are playing a Brave deck. He superior calls an unit with Brave from the deck.

The second part of his skill gives 2,000 power to your units in the front row for each face up Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile in your G zone. Your units have the potential to gain 6,000 power from the skill. Their attacks without a boost will have a chance of hitting your opponent’s vanguard. His power rises to 32,000 before getting a boost for his attack. It is just the increase in power that his formation needs to be effective.

Overall, Transcending the Heavens, Altmile is the best G-Unit for an Altmile deck. He portrays the Royal Paladin’s style at its best. He superior calls and ally and he power ups himself and his allies! I prefer Altimile’s strategy instead of Brave. You can gain advantage without being forced to surrender your hand. Transcend vanguard with Transcending the Heavens, Altmile!
