V-Standard Format:

Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader is an effective card in the V-Standard format. Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader supports Tachikaze’s mechanic of equip gauge. You can gain an additional circle in the front row from the Imaginary Gift: Accel.

First Ability:

Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader equips one of your rear-guards as a gauge for another rear-guard, and you can retire an opponent’s rear-guard. You gain two advantages from one ability. Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader sets up its second ability, and the opponent loses a rear-guard. You need to place gauges on your rear-gears.

Furthermore, you should use this ability early and often in games. This ability complements the second ability of Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader. Your rear-guards need at least three equip gauges. They will have two opportunities to deal damage to the opponent.

In addition, Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader slightly weakens the opponent’s defense. You can retire an opponent’s grade 2 rear-guard in the front row. The opponent has one less card for defense. Your upcoming attacks can break the defense.

Second Ability:

The ultimate power of Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader is its ability to stand three of your rear-guards with three or more gauges. This dinodragon unleashes a strong finisher to win games. You can have seven battles in a single turn. The momentum of the game swings in your favor for the turn.

Furthermore,  Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader can stand three rear-guards in your front row. You put a lot of pressure on the opponent. Each rear-guard will have two attacks if you use them for the first three battles of the turn. Then, Thundering Sword Dragon, Angerblader will stand these rear-guards for their second battles.
