Unit of The Week: Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit

[ACT](VC) Generation Break 2 Unite (This ability is active if you have called two or more units to (RC) or (GC) during this turn):[Counter Blast (1) & Soul Blast (2)] This unit gets [Power]+5000 for each of your rear-guards until end of turn. Choose up to five of your rear-guards, and they get [Power]+5000 until end of turn.

Sunrise Ray Knight, Gurguit has involved to the next grade! He is now a grade 4 unit. He has gained the ability to build power by fighting among his friendly allies. Gold Paladins are similar to Royal Paladins. They gain strength from their allies in combat. Gurguit’s power surpasses everyone when he has the full support of his friend. Nobody can stop the Gold Paladins after Gurguit unleashes the bright sun.

Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit gains 5,000 power for each of your rear-guards. A full field will give 25,000 power to him. His attack pressures your opponent in tight situation. He or she may be forced to guard with every card in hand if he or she does not have a perfect guard. Your rear-guards will continue to pressure your opponent even if your opponent defends the vanguard with perfect guard. All of your rear-guards gain 5,000 power until the end of your turn. Your rear-guard’s columns gain 10,000 power. Knight of Red Day, Runo is the perfect booster for your units with Unite. Runo becomes a 9K booster for units with Unite.  Play Flame of Victory to build your soul. He goes to the soul and gives 3,000 power to any unit on the field.

Furthermore, the sun’s rays have no limits. His ability can be activated multiple times per turn. He can gain 125,000 power if you are able save your resources to have 5 counter blasts and 10 cards in the soul. Your rear-guards become bigger threats. Giving trigger effects to rear-guards can deal more damage to the opposition! He can be played in any Gold Paladin deck. You do not need Sunrise Ray Knight, Gurguit to be heart to use Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit’s skill.

However, Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit is not a perfect card. His Generation Break’s cost interferes with his original form’s Generation Break. Both cards are required to perform soul blasts to use their abilities. There are some situations when you want to superior call a Perfect Guard with Sunrise Ray Knight, Gurguit’s skill. Do not abuse Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit’s skill in certain matchups because you may need to use Sunrise Ray Knight, Gurguit’s Generation Break.

Card Rating:

Overall, Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit is arguable the strongest card in the game. He is just what Gold Paladins needed for the extra deck. His skill can be activated multiple times in a single turn. His power rises to heights that we have never seen in vanguard. His friends also gain a huge power boost. He nearly guarantees your victory under the best scenario. Sunrise Ray Radiant Sword, Gurguit is leading the Gold Paladins to a brighter future.
