This is not your everyday statue! Underneath the stone is a powerful battleroid who defends the Oracle Think Tank clan. A few days ago, I pulled Oracle Guardian Apollon! He is one of the few male units in the Oracle Think Tank clan.
Oracle Guardian Apollon is basically a 10,000 attacker with a draw engine. A 10k attacker may not appear to be a big threat in today’s game. However, Apollon’s skills are pretty good. They can give a player hand advantage. His vanguard skill allows a player to return an unneeded card to the deck in exchange for drawing to cards. Most importantly, his skill does not require his attack to hit vanguard. His skill activates if his attack hits a vanguard or rear guard.
Furthermore, hand advantage is the key to winning games. The bigger our hands, the larger shield we have to defend against attacks. Offense sells tickets! Defense wins championships. We are able to last much longer in games with bigger hands. A good defense will lead you to victory!
In conclusion, Oracle Guardian Apollon is a nice unit for a budget deck. I don’t recommend him in competitive builds. His skill is a nicely built in draw engine. However, the engine only works if his attacks.
