Standard Format
First Effect

Icicle Resistant intercepts an opponent in battle, and goes to the soul after she is retired on the guardian circle. This effect serves two important purposes. First, she intercepts your opponent’s unit in battle to defend your vanguard. Second, it builds the soul by adding Icicle Resistant to your soul. She becomes a resource for your soul instead of going to the drop zone after intercepting an attack. You are reaching our best units’ requirements for cards in the soul.

Second Effect

Icicle Resistant in the soul binds herself to add 10,000 power to any of your units. It is a useful skill to strengthen one of your units. You are adding a lot of pressure on your opponent in battle. The additional power may push through the opponent’s defenses. I recommend adding the 10,000 power to your vanguard or one of  your rear-guards in the front row.

Furthermore, this strategy requires perfect timing when your soul has many cards. Send her to your soul after she defends your vanguard, and continue to build your soul. Then, you bind her when you can afford to remove her from the soul. Use the second skill when you are making the final play to win the game. It is a great strategy for building your soul, and using Icicle Resistant to increase your unit’s power.
