Roar, silver wolf of the Gods! Glorious Break!
[AUTO](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):When this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit gets [Power]+5000 until end of that battle.
[AUTO]:[Counter Blast (2)] When this unit is placed on (VC), you may pay the cost. If you do, search from your deck for up to one grade 2 or less «Gold Paladin», call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck.
Planet Cray is searching for new leaders. A new clan rises to the challenge! The Gold Paladins will return Cray to its glory days! The Void will be vanquished! The Great Silver Wolf, Garmore has accepted the challenge and will help his friend Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel!
Great Silver Wolf, Garmore’s limit break is the stereotypical limit break. He gains 5,000 power when attacking the vanguard. This skill appears to be better than Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel’s skill because Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel’s skill strongly depends on the amount of Gold Paladin rear guards on the field. Garmore does not face this issue. He will gain power regardless of how many Gold Paladin rear guards are on his side of the field!
Furthermore, his second skill makes him a very good vanguard. He can superior call any grade 2 or less Gold Paladin from the deck to the rear guard circle. His skill is consistent unlike Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel. Blond Ezel superiors call the top card on the deck, and that can be any card. The player may call a trigger or useless unit in a situation. On the other hand, Garmore allows the player to pick the best card for the situation.
Anime History:
Finally, it was very disappointing to see Aichi only play Great Silver Wolf, Garmore once. Great Silver Wolf, Garmore made his one and only appearance in Episode 68: Team Q4, Once More (watch the episode in the video above). This is just poor deck building by Aichi. Why did Aichi remove Garmore so quickly from his deck? He was only running one Blond Ezel so he really needed a strong card like Great Silver Wolf, Garmore.
Card Rating:
Overall, Great Silver Wolf, Garmore is one of the best Gold Paladin units. He is also one of the best grade 3 units from the trial decks. His ability to call any grade 2 or less Gold Paladin can help a player refill his or her rear guard circles, and allows him or her to choose the unit. It can also be argued that he is a better card than Incandescent Lion, Blond Ezel because his skills are consistent unlike Blond Ezel’s skills.
