D-Standard Format:

Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) is an offensive and defensive unit for Bermuda Triangle from the nation of Lyrical Monasterio. She is one of the few vanguards with offensive and defensive abilities. She creates a beautiful and powerful display of offense. One of her abilities enhances your defense.

In addition, Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) is the grade three unit for the ride deck of Coral. She is the final boss of the deck. She has three abilities on the vanguard circle.

First ability:

Aurora Star, Coral adds 5,000 shield to your units with Coral in their names. This grade three vanguard has above average defense. She can create strong shields against the opponent’s best attacks.

A good defense is always an advantage in Cardfight!! Vanguard. Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) may only require less cards for defense due to the increase in their shields’ values. You are likely to block the opponent’s attacks.

For instance, Shiny Star, Coral (D Series) has a shield of 5,000. The shield of Shiny Star, Coral (D Series) becomes 10,000 due to this ability. She has a respectable defense, and she can successfully intercept the opponent’s attacks.

Second Ability:

Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) enables an extra battle during the battle phase. Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) allows you to send on card from the hand to the soul and you may draw a card. In addition, a rear-guard may stand after this vanguard’s battle if you send a card with Coral in its name to the soul. Therefore, she enables a total of four battles.

In addition, Songs Inherited by Singing, Sertis is the perfect rear-guard to stand for an additional battle. The offensive skills of Songs Inherited by Singing, Sertis and Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) are a huge boost of momentum! This grade two unit with her impressive offense complements this ability. Songs Inherited by Singing, Sertis gains 5,000 power when you have a grade three vanguard with Coral in the name, and this unit also gains 5,000 power when you stand her with an ability. Therefore, Songs Inherited by Singing, Sertis has 20,000 power before a post. She also has 30,000 power if you persona ride a vanguard during the turn.

Furthermore, Fresh Star, Coral (D Series) is the ideal unit to send from the hand to the soul. This grade one unit gives triple drive to Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) if your opponent’s vanguard is grade three. Your vanguard has three opportunities for a trigger, and you may apply the effects of the triggers to the vanguard or a rear-guard.

Third Ability:

Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) adds 5,000 power for every two cards with Coral in their names in the soul to all units in the front row. In addition, this vanguard gains an additional critical. This ability strengthens your offense.

Therefore, Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) can create a very strong front row of units. You will be adding 5,000 power to each unit at minimum with this ability. These units have an opportunity to hit and damage the opponent’s vanguard.

In addition, Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) puts a lot of pressure on the opponent. She can inflict two damage when she gains the additional critical. She has a high amount of power from this ability and a boost. The opponent would need to use multiple cards for defense or a perfect guard.

Furthermore, second ability complements the third ability. You want to add cards with Coral in their names to the soul. This tactic builds the amount of power for your units in the front row. Two cards with Coral int their names add 5,000 power to units in the front row. Four cards with Coral in their names add 10,000 power to the vanguard and rear-guards in the front row.

For instance, Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) has 18,000 power if your soul has two cards with Coral in their names. She has two criticals if the opponent has a vanguard at grade three. Her power becomes 33,000 power on the turn when you persona ride if your soul has four cards with Coral in their names. She gains 10,000 power from four cards with Coral in the soul and 10,000 power from the persona ride.

Fresh Star, Coral (D Series) is one of the best cards for Aurora Star, Coral (D Series). This grade one provides consistency.  Fresh Star, Coral (D Series) may search the top seven cards of the deck for a unit with Coral in its name. You may potentially add the grade three unit to the hand.

In addition, Luminous Melody, Ilneysia and Songs Inherited by Singing, Sertis are strong rear-guards for Aurora Star, Coral (D Series). Both of these units gain 5,000 power under the proper conditions in battle. They are good targets for the second ability, and you may stand them for a second attack.

Premium Format:

Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) is not an effective vanguard in the premium format. Bushiroad did not design this card for this part of the game. She is designed for the D-Standard Format due to her third ability requires energy blasts. Persona Ride does not have a lot of value in most decks in the premium format.

However, you can still build a deck with  Aurora Star, Coral (D Series). She can use the support from the V-Premium Format. The deck will not be at its best with this version of Aurora Star, Coral.

The archetype of Coral has multiple G-Units. Arcadia Star, Coral and Frontier Star, Coral are good G-Units for the deck. They can use Aurora Star, Coral (D Series) as their hearts for their abilities.

You can have consistent success with this grade three unit. Therefore, I recommend playing a deck with Aurora Star, Coral (D Series).
