Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas is a grade 3 unit from Brant Gate. She is a member of the Aurora Battle Princesses. She enforces the law on Planet Cray. This unit has two abilities and Persona Ride.

D-Standard Format:

Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas has two abilities. Both of her abilities support Aurora Battle Princesses. She only belongs in a deck with her archetype.

In addition, Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas has the ability of Persona Ride. However, it is not a factor for this card. You never want to ride her as your vanguard. You will not be activating Persona Ride from this card.

First Ability:

Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas imprisons an opponent’s card from the drop zone, and the opponent chooses the card. The ability builds the number of cards in your prison. It also sets up the abilities of units such as Aurora Battle Princess, Seraph Snow.

Therefore, Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas provides an additional method to imprison the opponent’s cards. This ability is very effective against decks with abilities to keep rear-guards off the field. Many Aurora Battle Princesses imprisons rear-guards. This grade 3 unit targets the drop zone and counters opponents when opponents are not calling many rear-guards to the field.

Furthermore, Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas is an effective rear-guard against opponents who are limiting their number of rear-guards to avoid the abilities of Aurora Battle Princess, Seraph Snow. An opponent needs to block attacks and this mechanic sends units to the drop zone. You will have cards to imprison from the opponent’s drop zone

Second Ability:

Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas is a duel threat on the field. She gains 10,000 power and 5,000 shield when your prison has imprisoned two or more of the opponent’s cards. Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas also forces the opponent to guard her attack with two or more cards from the opponent’s hand. This ability has a very consistent effect. Aurora Battle Princesses often imprison the opponent’s cards in your prison.

Furthermore, this ability is active during the opponent’s turn. Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas has 23,000 power and 5,000 shield. An opponent would need to boost most rear-guards to retire her in battle.

In addition, this ability weakens the opponent’s defense. The ability forces the opponent to call at least two cards in the guardian circle if the opponent blocks the attack. You are draining the opposing player of his or her resources if they decide to block grade 2 rear-guard in battle.

Support:

Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas perfectly fits in decks with Aurora Battle Princesses. Her abilities fit seamlessly in the archetype. She provides important support the archetype’s best units and orders.

Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas sets up the abilities of Aurora Battle Princess, Seraph Snow and Aurora Fierce Princess, Seraph Purelight. These two units are the archetype’s best vanguards. They require a particular number of units in your prison.

Premium Format:

The Premium Format is not the ideal format for this card. She will not appear in competitive decks. Bushiroad designed Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas for the D-Standard Format. She does not fit with decks outside of Aurora Battle Princess.

Therefore, Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas only belongs in a deck with Aurora Battle Princess. Her archetype unleashes her full potential. She requires a prison and units with the ability to imprison the opponent’s cards.

Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas has a few uses in the Premium Format. She provides a respectable offense when she is a rear-guard. You may discard her for the cost of stride because she is a grade 3 unit.

Furthermore, Aurora Battle Princess, Penetrate Aquas needs generic G-Units in the Premium Format. Brandt Gate has access to the Star Gate’s G-nits. I recommend powerful cards such as Progenitor Dragon of Horizon Limit, Origorem in a G-Zone for a deck with this grade 3 unit.
