Asura Kaiser’s skill stands a rear-guard when you check a grade 2 or greater card, and you may give your rear-guard 10,000 power if you check a grade 3 card. You want to check grade 3 cards to get the full benefit of Asura Kaiser’s skill. You can give 10,000 power to a standing rear-guard, and you will have a grade 3 to ride next turn. If you only reveal a grade 2 card, then a trigger will boost your rear-guard’s power. Triggers can bail you out of trouble if you missed a grade 3 card.

Always stand your rear-guard on the Accel Circle. It is your strongest rear-guard, and will be able to hit your opponent. Units like Maximum Raizer are great cards to call on the Accel circle. You can maximize its skill on an Accel circle. Maximum Raizer gains 10,000 power if it is not boosted during battle. Its power rises to 32,000 on the Accel circle, and its power can rise to 42,000 if your drive check reveals a grade 3 card.
Raizer Custom is the best rear-guard to call behind your rear-guards. Every Nova Grappler deck needs to run this card. It stands after your rear-guard in the same column stands. Its boost will help you if your twin drive only checked a grade 2 card. You will have some power to launch at your opponent.
Overall, Asura Kaiser is simply a poor man’s Perfect Raizer for budget decks. They have similar skills, and Perfect Raizer’s skill is obliviously the better skill. Asura Kaiser’s skill is not bad, but it is not as consistent as Perfect Raizer’s skill. Asura Kaiser is a good option for budget decks. Players will save over twenty dollars on the secondary market by building a deck for Asura Kaiser.
