The wait for the next Super Smash Bros. is finally over! Nintendo revealed Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch at E3 2018! Super Smash Bros has grown into the most popular fighting franchise. Players can play as their favorite characters to battle characters from the most popular video games. Nintendo did not disappoint fans. They have a 25 minute presentation of a trailer, new character, and new features!
An All-Star Cast!
Every character from the previous titles are returning to the arena! Cloud, Kirby, Link, Mario, Mega Man, and Sonic are just a few of the returning characters. Snake from Metal Gear Solid finally returns to the series after his absence in Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Wii U. Every incarnation of Link is center stage! Link, Child Link, and Toon Link can battle each other for the title of the best hero. New characters will also join the stage. Ridley is the first new character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
New and Classic Stages!
Classic stages are returning to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with improved graphics! Green Hill Zone and Princess Peach’s Castle have returned with colorful graphics and details on their designs. We also see one new stage in action. A preview of the Great Plateau Tower shows an epic battle with many characters. The stage collapses after taking damage from the fight. Then, it repaired itself as the game continued.
The Best Controller!
Finally, Gamecube controllers are compatible with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I love Super Smash Bros. Melee. I consider it the best game in the franchise to date. The controls are very comfortable and simple. I am going to enjoy mashing buttons to unleash a fury of attacks.
