The Top Ten HERO Fusion Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh!

HERO is the first archetype with a primary strategy with fusion monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh!. The game had some fusion monsters like Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. The entire focus of a deck with HERO is their fusion monsters. These cards have powerful effects.

The idea is superheroes teaming up to defeat evildoers. These superheroes combine their powers and a new superhero is born with powerful effects. The archetype of HERO has some of the best fusion monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh!.

I am listing the top ten HERO Fusion Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh!. I am only considering cards in the TCG. Cards only in the manga and anime will not qualify for this list.

1. Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer

Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer is the best HERO fusion monster in Yu-Gi-Oh!. This fusion monster dominates opponents with his effects. He swings the momentum of the game in his player’s favor.

Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforce decreased the opponent’s monsters’ ATK by 200 for each HERO in your graveyard. This effect can greatly weaken the opponent’s monsters. A graveyard with many Heroes causes an opposing monster to be a very vulnerable card in battle.

Furthermore, Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer may destroy himself and destroy an opponent’s card. This monster’s destruction is not a loss. You may special summon this card on your next standby phase.

Masked HERO Dark Law banishes a random card from the opponent’s hand when they use an effect to add a card to their hand except during the Draw Phase. The best feature of Masked HERO Dark Law is his first effect. The effect banishes all of the opponents cards going to the graveyard. This tactic prevents cards with effects in the graveyard activating those effects. Some opposing decks lose access to their best cards for the remainder of the game.

Masked HERO Dark Law’s only weakness is its decent ATK of 2,400. An opponent may summon a powerful monster to destroy it in battle. However, the opponent must spend resources to play his or her powerful monster, and Masked HERO Dark Law banishes those resources from the duel. The price to destroy Masked HERO Dark Law may become a hefty cost.

3. Evil HERO Malicious Bane

Evil HERO Malicious Bane is a malicious fusion monster against opponents. Many opponents fear this card when it appears on the field. Evil HERO Malicious Bane is a strong card with strong effects. This fusion monster destroys all opposing monsters with ATK equal or less than him and opponents cannot destroy this card with effects or by battle.

Evil HERO Malicious Bane easily sets up an OTK. This fusion monsters destroys all of the opponent’s monsters in most situations. All of your HERO monsters may attack the opponent directly and potentially win the game.

Furthermore, you may expand Evil HERO Malicious Bane’s effect to destroy the opponent’s monsters. Elemental HERO Honest Neos adds 2,500 ATK to this fusion monster. His effect would destroy all of the opponent’s monsters with 5,500 ATK or less for the turn.

4. Elemental HERO Sunrise

Elemental HERO Sunrise is the best Elemental HERO fusion monster. This card is a very easy monster to fusion summon with Polymerization and Miracle Fusion. His effects provide major advantages and disrupts the opponent’s strategy.

All of your Heroes gain 200 ATK for each different attribute on your field from Elemental HERO Sunrise’s first effect. This effect is a nice bonus. Your Heroes gain additional offense and have a chance to destroy opposing monsters in battle.

The special summon of Elemental HERO Sunrise allows you to add Miracle Fusion from the deck to your hand. Miracle Fusion is one of the best cards for fusion summons. This spell card allows players to use monsters in the graveyard for material. You may perform an additional fusion summon with the same materials for Elemental HERO Sunrise from your graveyard.

The best effect of Elemental HERO Sunrise is destroying an opponent’s card when one of your other Heroes are in battle. This effect counters the opponent’s strategy. It can protect your monster in battle. You may destroy the opponent’s best monster or a powerful card in the opponent’s back row.

5. Masked HERO Acid

Masked HERO Acid is one of the best Masked Heroes in the game. This fusion monster has the same effect as Harpie’s Feather Duster. Masked HERO Acid destroys all of the opponent’s spells and traps when you special summon this fusion monster.

In addition, this effect deceases the opponent’s monsters ATK by 300. This addition is a bonus for your advantage. Your monsters may have an opportunity to destroy the opponent’s weaken monsters by battle.

Furthermore, Masked HERO Acid has a strong combo for Mask Change. The combination of Elemental HERO Absolute Zero, Masked HERO Acid, and Mask Change completely destroys your opponent’s field. You may activate Mask Change on Elemental HERO Absolute Zero to fusion summon Masked HERO Acid. Both fusion monsters activate their destructive effects. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero destroys all of the opponent’s monsters and Masked HERO Acid destroys the opponent’s spells and traps.

6. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero

Elemental HERO Absolute Zero was one of the first good HERO fusion monsters. This card has a single effect and it only takes one good effect for you may gain an advantage. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero destroys all of the opponent’s monster when he leaves the field by any means.

Therefore, it is a very difficult effect for the opponent to avoid this effect. The actions of banish, destroy, and tribute trigger this effect. Either you or the opponent may activate it at anytime.

For example, you may activate Mask Change and target Elemental HERO Absolute Zero. This play leads to the special summon of Masked HERO Acid. It also triggers the effect and destroys all of the opponent’s monsters.

Furthermore, Elemental HERO Absolute Zero is a version of Raigeki in the form of a fusion monster. the destruction of all of the opponent’s monsters is a major advantage. You have an opportunity to attack the opponent directly.

7. Destiny HERO Dangerous

Destiny Hero has a unique playstyle with monsters having effects for the graveyard. The archetype wants its members in the graveyard. Destiny HERO Dangerous enables the archetype’s strategy to perfection. This fusion monster discards a card from your hand and sends one Destiny HERO from the deck to the graveyard. This effect sets up future plays.

Destiny HERO – Dynatag adds 1,000 ATK to one of your Destiny Heroes when you banish this effect monster from the graveyard. Destiny HERO – Malicious banishes itself from the graveyard and special summons a copy of Destiny HERO – Malicious from your deck.

8. Destiny HERO – Dystopia

A unique card on this list is Destiny HERO – Dystopia. This fusion monster inflicts damage to the opponent with his effect and destroys the opponent’s cards. This fusion monster may destroy a card when his ATK is different from his original ATK.

Destiny HERO earns its victories with the graveyard. Destiny HERO – Dystopia banishes one of your level four or lower Destiny Heroes from the graveyard. This effect inflicts damage equal to the ATK of the monster that you banished. It is a simple and effective method to inflict damage.

Many monsters from Destiny HERO may change this fusion monster’s ATK and set up its effect. For example, Destiny HERO – Dangerous may increase the ATK of Destiny HERO – Dystopia. This comb sets up the effect and you may destroy one of the opponent’s cards.

Many cards in the archetype help you to play this card. For example, the dynamic duo of Elemental HERO Solid Solider and Elemental HERO Stratos will add a third HERO to the hand, and you will be set for this fusion summon.

10. Elemental HERO Core

Elemental HERO Core is another fusion monster with the requirement of three monsters for his fusion material. This fusion monster requires three Elemental Heroes. He is a fairly easy card to special summon with Miracle Fusion.

Furthermore, this monster is difficult to destroy in battle. Elemental HERO Core’s ATK doubles to 5,400 when the opponent foolishly attacks this monster in battle. It is a unique effect for protection.
