Capcom has released a new trailer for Mega Man 11! Mega Man and his friends are back to stop Dr. Wily. We are first introduced to Dr. Wily speaking in the background. He is scheming his next plan for world domination. Dr. Wily developed a Double Gear system during his days at robot college. Next, we see Dr. Light speaking to Rock, Roll, and Auto. The Double Gear system puts a lot of strain on robots’ bodies. Dr. Light installs the program into Mega Man. Mega Man believes it is his best chance at stopping Dr. Wily’s evil scheme.
The game is beautiful with bright colors and deep textures. The cartoon graphics fit Mega Man’s style. Mega Man has never looked better on the big screen. The trailer also shows two new robot masters. Fuse Man and Block Man are shown in battles against Mega Man. Block Man transforms into a huge robot, and Mega Man neutralizes Block Man with an overcharged charged shot.
Mega Man 11 introduces the Double Gear system. It appears to give a large amount of power to Mega Man. The Double Gear overcharges the Mega Buster! Mega Man unleashes a stronger charged shot with Double Gear. Mega Man is shown charging special weapons with the Double Gear. This may be the origin of Mega Man X’s stronger charge shot and ability to charge special weapons.
Mega Man 11 is the first Classic Series game since Mega Man 8 to have voice acting. I must say the acting and voices are a lot better than the horrible acting from Mega Man 8. Mega Man sounds like a young teenager, and Dr. Light is able to pronounce Dr. Wily’s name. Fuse Man and Block Man trash talk throughout their boss battles.
Mega Man 11 is ready for pre-order! Mega Man is heading to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC! Mega Man 11 is set to be released on October 2nd, 2018! Get your weapons ready!
