Kagero is known for its powerful grade 3 units. The clan also has strong rear-guards such as Dragonic Burnout. This unit has a single ability. Dragonic Burnout is a useful rear-guard in a variety of decks. This mighty dragon retires an opponent’s rear-guard with its fiery breath.
Ability:
Dragonic Burnout retires one of your opponent’s rear-guards, and Dragonic Burnout returns a grade 2 or greater card from your drop zone to the deck. You gain two advantages from a single skill. You destroy one of the opponent’s rear-guards and you regain a card for the deck.
Furthermore, this ability is an ACT, and Dragonic Burnout activates this skill during every turn. You consistently retire the opponent’s best rear-guard during every turn. Your best target is a grade 2 unit in the front row. The opponent loses defense from a rear-guard with the ability to intercept.
Synergy with Dragonic Overlord:
This ability has fantastic synergy with Dragonic Overlord “The X”. Dragonic Burnout sets up the ability of Dragonic Overlord “The X”. These cards are a fantastic team. The abilities of Dragonic Overlord “The X” requires a different card with Dragonic Overlord in its name and searches the deck for a card with Dragonic Overlord in its name.
With Dragonic Burnout’s ability, you can consistently activate the ability of Dragonic Overlord “The X”. The deck consistently uses it strategy without any setbacks. Your deck will always have a copy of a card with Dragonic Overlord in its name.

Dragonic Burnout has the same usefulness in the premium format. A few cards in the premium format need access to Dragonic Overlord. You will have the necessary resources for these cards’ abilities. You want Dragonic Overlord in your deck to consistently use those abilities.
For example, the original Dragonic Overlord “The X” (Legion) activates Legion with a Dragonic Overlord the End from the deck. Legion requires the mate to be in the deck for the ability’s activation. Dragonic Burnout can add a copy of Dragonic Overlord the End in your deck if you do not have Dragonic Overlord the End in the deck.

Overall, Dragonic Burnout is productive rear-guard for Dragonic Overlord decks. I recommend playing three to four copies of Dragonic Burnout. I always preach consistency is the path to success. Dragonic Burnout consistent ability enables the archetype’s strategies. You gain access to a Dragonic Overlord to activate abilities of other versions of Dragonic Overlord.
