Dragonic Blademaster is Mamoru Anjou‘s avatar in Cardfight!! Vanguard V. He prefers to wield a sword with red flames instead of breathing fire. Dragonic Blademaster has the marker for Imaginary Gift: Force. He has two powerful skills to gain power and retire your opponent’s rear-guards. This might dragon’s intense flames burn your opponent’s rear-guards!
First Skill
Dragonic Blademaster gains 5,000 power and one critical when your opponent does not have any rear-guards. The skill is a powerful finisher in the proper setup. This skill puts a lot of pressure on your opponent. In addition, a Force I marker raises Dragonic Blademaster’s power to 28,000 before a boost from a rear-guard. A Force II increases Dragonic Blademaster’s criticals to three!
In addition, Kagero has a large library of units to support this ability. Dragonic Blademaster’s second skill triggers this ability. Effective rear-guards retire your opponent’s rear-guards. You can trigger the first skill in the early game if your opponent has a few rear-guards and your rear-guards retire the opposition. Then, Dragonic Blademaster is ready to deal major damage.
Second Skill
Dragonic Blademaster’s second skill complements the first skill. Dragonic Blademaster retires all of your opponent’s rear-guard and creates a Vision Token. This skill very effective against many decks, and clans such as Aqua Force and Nova Grappler strongly depend on their rear-guards. In addition, your opponent loses his or her grade 2 rear-guards for intercepting attacks.

- Wyvern Strike, Doha
- Wyvern Strike, Garan
Vision Token
A Vision Token is an illusion of Dragonic Blademaster. It is a useful rear-guard in battle. This illusion has twin drive and pressures your opponent if you check triggers during its twin drive. You may consider this card as a second vanguard due to the twin drive. The Vision Token leaves the field at the end of your turn.
Premium Format
Finally, you want to only play Dragonic Blademaster for his name and Imaginary Gift: Force in the premium format. His skills are only active when he is your vanguard, but your G-Unit will be your vanguard. A G-Unit will run the show from the mid-game to the game’s finale. Gain a force marker and give it to either your vanguard or rear-guard. Then, let Dragonic Blademaster’s support burn your opponent’s rear-guards to the ground!

Card Rating
Overall, Dragonic Blademaster is a good card for the standard format. He adds a different style for Kagero. His ability to create a Vision Token is a unique ability for the clan. This card will mostly see action in the standard format. He does not offer a lot of advantages in the premium format. I expect players to play this card often in the standard format.
