Let’s go! Operation start!
[AUTO](RC)[1/Turn]:When your other rear-guard is placed in the same column as this unit, COST [Counter Blast (1)], draw a card, and this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of turn.
I remember the days of rear-guards with high power would not have skills. We now have strong rear-guards with good skills. Say hello to my new best friend Little Sage, Marron. He is back and he is packing a strong skill to help Blaster Blade overcome any foe. Little Sage, Marron is a double rare card in Unite! Team Q4.
Little Sage, Marron’s skill activates when your call a rear-guard in the same column as him. You will draw a card and Marron gains 3,000 power. The skill is very basic and efficient. The skill rewards you for being aggressive. You are not losing resources by calling a unit to the field. You quickly replace a card from your hand by drawing a card.
In addition to Marron’s skills, you are able to build large columns with combos. Ride Alfred Early to superior call Blaster Blade to the same column with Marron. Blaster Blade will gain 10,000 power from Alfred Early’s skill and Marron’s skill triggers after Blaster Blade is called. Then, Marron will gain 3,000 power. The column’s total power will be 31,000. You will draw two cards from Alfred Early’s and Marron’s skills.
Little Sage, Marron is a very similar card to Knight Squire, Allen. Both units draw a card after you call a unit and they gain 3,000 power. There are major differences between the cards. Allen’s skill can only be used when he is placed, and Marron’s skill can be used once per turn. You must also call the unit in the same column with Marron. Marron is the stronger card because he can be used once per turn unlike Allen.
Card Rating:
Overall, Little Sage, Marron is currently the best grade 1 rear-guard for Royal Paladins. I love this card. I played it today at my local card shop. I was able to maintain my hand with Marron on the field. This card is one of the most efficient rear-guards for the back row. Little Sage, Marron will retain its value for the foreseeable future.
