[Fiend/Fusion/Effect]
ATK/5,000 DEF/5,000
3 Level 10 monsters that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set
Must be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards you control to the GY. You can only Special Summon “The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts” once per turn this way, no matter which method you use. The first two times this card on the field would be destroyed by card effect each turn, it is not destroyed. Once per Chain, up to thrice per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; negate its effects (until the end of this turn), then you can gain LP equal to half that monster’s ATK.
The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is the combination of the Sacred Beasts. This card is one of the fusion monsters for the Sacred Beasts. This fusion monster has impressive stats of 5,000 attack points and 5,000 defense points. This card has an inherent protection and can negate the effects of the opponent’s monsters.

First Effect:
The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is not destroyed when it would be destroyed by a card’s effect for the first two times during each turn. This effect provides protection for this fusion monster. This effect forces the opponent to use multiple resources to destroy this fusion monster.
Therefore, this effect of The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts presents problems for the opponent. The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is a difficult card to destroy. This fusion monster has 5,000 attack points. It has more attack points than many monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh!. Some decks may require multiple resources to summon a stronger monster than this card or spend multiple resources to destroy this fusion monster with an effect.
However, this effect does not protect The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts from banishment. An opponent can potentially banish this fusion monster. Cards such as Dark Magical Circle and Spellbook of Fate can banish The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts.
Second Effect:
The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts negates the effects of an opponent’s face-up monster until the end of this turn. You can only activate this effect once per chain and three times per turn. In addition, you can gain life points equal to half of the opponent’s monster’s ATK. The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts counters the opponent’s strategy.
Furthermore, The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts can interrupt the opponent’s combos to set up his or her field. For instance, an opponent may normal summon Elemental HERO Stratos with the intent to activate its effect to search the deck for a HERO. The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts can negate this effect. As a result, the opponent loses the advantage of using Elemental HERO Stratos to add a HERO from the deck to the hand to progress his or her strategy.
However, The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts can only activate this effect once per chain. An opponent can potentially activate a quick-play spell or a trap card during the chain as a response to The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts. The opponent can potentially chain a card such as Infinite Impermanence to negate this fusion monster’s effects.
The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is unable to negate the effects of spells and traps. The opponent can still activate their spells and traps. Some decks will still be able to play strong combos.
Fusion Summon:
The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts has two options for its special summon. It requires three level ten monsters that cannot be normal summoned or set for its fusion materials. You can fusion summon this monster with a traditional strategy such as Polymerization and its fusion materials. However, you may only summon this monster once per turn regardless of which method from this card’s summoning conditions.
In addition, the second option for the special summon of The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is contact fusion. The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts requires three level ten monsters on your field that cannot be normal summoned or set. You special summon this card by sending those three level ten monsters to the graveyard. You do not use Polymerization.
Furthermore, Dimension Fusion Destruction adds consistency for the special summon of The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts. This spell banishes the fusion materials from a combination of your hand, field, or graveyard to special summon The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts. In addition, Dimension Fusion Destruction ignores the summoning conditions for the fusion monster. This spell is an alternative option when the fusion materials are located in different areas such as your hand, field, and graveyard.
Therefore, the Sacred Beasts are natural choices for the fusion material. Calamity of the Sacred Beasts – Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, Infinity of the Sacred Beasts – Raviel, Lord of Phantasms, and Inferno of the Sacred Beasts – Uria, Lord of Searing Flames are level ten monsters and cannot be normal summoned or set. The requirement for the fusion materials allows you to use more than one copy of a Sacred Beast.

Support:
The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts has effective support from Sacred Beasts. The archetype has cards with effects to improve the consistency of this fusion monster. These cards set up the contact fusion for The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts.
For instance, Fallen Paradise of the Sacred Beasts enables the special summon of The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts. This field spell card sends three other cards of the same type from your hand or your field if the cards are face-up to the graveyard. Then, Fallen Paradise of the Sacred Beasts can special summon one Sacred Beast from your hand, deck, graveyard, or banishment. You may activate this effect up to three times per turn. Therefore, Fallen Paradise of the Sacred Beasts can set up the field with Calamity of the Sacred Beasts – Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, Infinity of the Sacred Beasts – Raviel, Lord of Phantasms, and Inferno of the Sacred Beasts – Uria, Lord of Searing Flames. Then, you may fusion summon The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts.
In addition, Summoner of the Sacred Beasts can also special summon the Sacred Beasts. This effect monster has three effects. Each effect special summons a Sacred Beast. Summoner of the Sacred Beasts adds consistency for the special summon of The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts. You can gather the cards on your field for the special summon.

Matchups: Weaknesses
Despite its protection and ability of negation, The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts has multiple weaknesses. Some cards are not affected by this fusion monster’s effects. This fusion monster cannot negate spells or traps.
Super Polymerization is an effective card for opponents to remove The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts from the field. Super Polymerization can use this fusion monster as fusion material and neither player can activate cards in response to its activation. An opponent can activate Super Polymerization and use The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts and other monsters from either field as fusion materials.
Furthermore, The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts can only be used as fusion material if it meets the requirements of an opponent’s fusion monster in their extra deck. The other monsters for the fusion summon must also meet the requirements for the fusion materials. As a result, the opponent has a new fusion monster and The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is in the graveyard.
In addition, Infinite Impermanence counters The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts. This trap can negate this fusion monster’s effects until the end of the turn. This strategy allows you to destroy The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts with a card’s effect during this turn because Infinite Impermanence can negate both of this fusion monster’s effects.
Card Rating:
Overall, The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts is a good fusion monster for Sacred Beasts. This card can impact games with its high attack points of 5,000 and the protection from being destroyed by card effects. This fusion monster can be difficult to destroy and remove from the field. Sacred Beasts have a few cards to set up this fusion summon. Therefore, I recommend including The Chaotic Phantasmal Sacred Beasts in your extra deck.
