Gains 300 ATK for each “Unchained” card in your GY. You can only use each of the following effects of “Unchained Soul of Disaster” once per turn.
● You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; immediately after this effect resolves, Link Summon 1 DARK Link Monster using only this card you control and that opponent’s monster as material.
● If this card on the field is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 “Unchained” monster in your GY, except “Unchained Soul of Disaster”; Special Summon it.

Unchained Soul of Disaster is a level 8 and Effect Monster in Yu-Gi-Oh! This powerful fiend is not limited by the chains that bind it. Unchained Soul of Disaster has three effects to support its archetype. The fiend uses your opponent’s monster as material for Link Summons.

First Effect:

Unchained Soul of Disaster gains 300 Attack Points (ATK) for each Unchained card in your graveyard. This effect includes monsters, Spells, and Traps. Unchained Soul of Disaster has a lot of potential to gain a lot of ATK.

For example, Unchained Soul of Disaster gains 2,100 ATK if your graveyard has seven Unchain cards. You need to play many cards to build your graveyard. Then, Unchained Soul of Disaster will have a respectable ATK.

Second Effect:

Unchained Soul of Disaster targets one of your opponent’s monsters and uses it as material to Link Summon a Dark Link Monster. This is a great effect for using the opponent’s resource for a summon. You save a card for another part of your strategy.

Furthermore, the archetype of Unchained has Dark Link Monsters. Unchained Soul of Rage and Unchained Soul of Anguish are monsters to summon with this effect. They are the archetype’s best monsters in the Extra Deck.

Third Effect:

You may special summon an Unchained monster if your opponent destroys Unchained Soul of Disaster by battle or a card’s effect. You maintain a good field with at least one monster. An opponent cannot declare a direct attack. Your new monster protects your life points, and it keeps you in the game.

Special Summon Unchained Soul of Disaster!

Finally, a card’s value increases if you can special summon it. You have many options to play Unchained Soul of Disaster. Unchained has cards with the effects to special summon Unchained monsters such as Unchained Soul of Disaster. You can easily play this fiend in many duels.

Abomination’s Prison special summons an Unchained monster from the deck if your opponent destroys it while set. For example, an opponent destroys Abomination Prison when it is set. Then, you can special summon Unchained Soul of Disaster from the deck. You do not need the monster in your hand. Abomination Prison gives instant access to the card, and special summons it.
