Effects:
Marincess Dive has two effects with the ability to special summon a monster. You may only activate one of its effects. Your choice depends on your strategy and the source of the monster. The first effect special summons a monster with Marincess in its name from the graveyard. The second effect special summons a monster with Marincess in its name from the deck.
First Effect:
Marincess Dive may special summon one non-link monster with Marincess in your graveyard. This spell returns one of your key monsters to the field. It can special summon any member of the archetype.
In addition, Marincess Dive is an important card in combos for this effect. You can extend plays when this spell special summons a monster with Marincess in its name. You may use this new monster as material for a link summon.
Furthermore Marincess Dive has synergy with Marincess Blue Tang. Their effects complement the deck’s strategy. Marincess Blue Tang sends a monster with Marincess in its name to the graveyard when you normal or special summon her. You may use this spell card to special summon this effect monster.
Second Effect:
Marincess Dive may special summon one monster with Marincess in her name from the deck if Marincess Battle Ocean is in your Field Zone. This effect provides a free monster. You gain access to any monster from the archetype in the deck.

Link Summon Combo:
Marincess Dive enables combo of one card for a summon of a Link 4 Marincess Monster. This strategy requires Marincess Blue Tang at the start. You can summon a powerful monster on the field with this combo.
- Normal Summon Marincess Blue Tang, and activate her ability to send Marincess Sea Horse to the graveyard.
- Use Marincess Blue Tang as material to link summon Marincess Blue Slug.
- The effect of Marincess Blue Slug returns Marincess Sea Horse to the hand.
- Then, special summon Marincess Sea Horse to the field.
- Use Marincess Sea Horse as material to link summon Marincess Sea Angel.
- Marincess Sea Angel may add Marincess Dive from the deck to the hand.
- Link summon Marincess Coral Anemone with Marincess Sea Angel and Marincess Blue Slug
- Marincess Coral Anemone special summons Marincess Sea Angel or Marincess Blue Slug from the graveyard.
- Then, Marincess Dive special summons Marincess Sea Horse to the field.
- Link summon Marincess Aqua Argonaut with Marincess Coral Anemone, Marincess Blue Slug, and Marincess Sea Horse as materials.
