Anime History
Aster Phoenix plays Destiny HERO – Dystopia in his extra deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V. Aster plays this card in his first duel against Yuya Sakak. He activates D-Fusion to Fusion Summon Destiny HERO – Dystopia! Then, Aster uses Destiny HERO – Dystopia’s first effect to deal 1,600 damage to Yuya. Their first duel ends in a draw, and Yuya wins their second duel.
First Effect
Destiny HERO – Dystopia targets one level 4 or lower Destiny HERO in your graveyard, and he inflicts damage equal to that monster’s ATK (Attack Points) to your opponent. This effect activates when you special summon Destiny HERO – Dystopia! You can inflict major damage if you target a card with a high ATK. You also have a chance to win the game if your opponent is on the edge of defeat. For example, Destiny HERO – Celestial has 1,600 Attack Points. Thus, your opponent loses 1,600 life points!

Second Effect
Destiny HERO – Dystopia targets and destroys one card on the field if his ATK is different than his original ATK. Then, his ATK returns to its original stats. This effect is an effective method of destroying your opponent’s best cards. You may destroy a powerful monster or a face down card on the field.
Furthermore, Destiny HERO – Dystopia needs cards to change his original ATK to trigger his second effect. It does not matter if you increase or decrease his ATK. You only need to change it for this effect. A card such as Forbidden Lance decreases his ATK, but his effect will offset the decrease. Destiny HERO – Dystopia destroys an opponent’s card and his effect returns his ATK to its original stats.

Overall, Destiny HERO – Dystopia is a good Fusion monster for Destiny Heroes. I recommend playing Destiny HERO – Dystopia in a pure Destiny HERO deck. He instantly inflicts damage to your opponent when you special summon him. In addition, he has the potential to destroy a card on the field. His second effect needs assistance from other cards, but it is a powerful effect for destroying cards.
