[Fiend/Effect]

ATK/1,800 DEF/0

If this card is in your hand or GY: You can send 1 other card from your hand or field to the GY; Special Summon this card, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn, except DARK Dragon Synchro Monsters. You can target 1 face-up monster you control that has a Level; send 1 Fiend Tuner from your hand or Deck to the GY, and if you do, increase or decrease that monster’s Level by 1. You can only use each effect of “Bone Archfiend” once per turn.

Bone Archfiend is a common card from Structure Deck: The Crimson King. This effect monster is one of the best common cards from a structure deck. Bone Archfiend has two useful effects. This effect monster enables your synchro summon with your tuners.

Sets:

  • Structure Deck: The Crimson King

First Effect:

Bone Archfiend may special summon itself from the hand if you send one card from the field or graveyard. You can easily special summon this monster. Monsters with this type of effect have a lot of value in decks. It creates many strategies for decks.

Furthermore, this effect sets up special summons from the extra. This effect monster is material for synchro monsters. You have a lot of options against opponents.

In addition, this effect perfectly sets up synchro summons for Archfiend because the archetype has dark dragon synchro monsters. Bone Archfiend is a level four monster. It has the perfect level for synchro summons with tuner monsters.

This restriction will not affect you if you are playing a deck with only dark dragon synchro monsters. It will not stop your strategy for the turn. You may still special summon Red Archfiend Dragon from the extra.

Second Effect:

Bone Archfiend may increase or decease the level of a tuner monster by one. This effect manipulates a tuner monster’s level for the purpose of a synchro summon. You want to synchro summon a particular card. You need the proper levels with all of the materials. This effect monster provides the proper levels for your monsters.

Therefore, this ability allows you to adjust levels for synchro summons for a particular monster. You may need to increase or decease a tuner’s level for a particular synchro monster. The proper amount of levels ensure the synchro summon.

For example, Bone Archfiend may increase Soul Resonator’s level to four. Both monsters have a total of eight levels. You may use both of these as materials for the synchro summon of Scarred Dragon Archfiend.

Synchro Material:

Bone Archfiend is fantastic synchro material due to its second effect. It fits the requirement of material for many cards. Monsters in the archetype of Archfiend often require a dark monster.

For example, you may use Bone Archfiend and Red Resonator as materials for the synchro summon of Red Rising Dragon. You can easily play this combo. Red Resonator may special summon Bond Archfiend from your hand. Then, you may use them as materials for the synchro summon of Red Rising Dragon.
