The origin of limits. Everything starts from zero.[AUTO] Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):When a «Link Joker» rides this unit, choose a rear-guard from your opponent’s front row and back row, lock them, and choose your vanguard, and that unit gets [Power]+10000 until end of turn. (The locked card is turned face down, and cannot do anything. It turns face up at the end of the owner’s turn.)
[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit gets
[Power]+2000 until end of that battle. [CONT](VC/RC): Lord (If you have a unit without a same clan as this unit, this unit cannot attack)
The Void has sent its avatar Link Joker to reverse Cray and Earth. Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon is ready to launch its first wave of attacks against both worlds. Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon is one of the first cards to be introduced with the new Lock skill.
Furthermore, Link Joker is famous for its powerful Lock ability. Star-vader Infinite Zero Dragon’s Break Ride skill is very annoying to play against. The Break Ride skill can shut down a column and one of the opposing player’s boosters. A skillful veteran player would most likely lock an opponent’s vanguard’s booster. This is a major offensive and defensive advantage. There will be one less attack during the opponent’s next turn, and the opponent lost a potential interceptor.
Most importantly, the skill is completely free. There is not a cost to activate its strong Break Ride skill. If Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon’s Break Ride had a cost, then it would prevent or limit broken combos. A skill this strong should have a cost because it will greatly limit the opponent’s options.
To Illustrate, Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon’s Break Ride skill is heavily abused by its leader, Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon. Chaos Breaker Dragon’s skills can lock additional units and draw cards during the opponent’s end phrase. It gives the player major card advantage by discarding useless or unneeded cards such as Grade 3 units to Lock and retire opponent’s units, then draw cards to reinforce his or her field. This is one of the most broken combos in all of Cardfight!! Vanguard. Hand advantage is a key to winning. However, Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon gives an unfair hand advantage to the player because he or she can draw at least four cards during the opponent’s end phase and destroy the opponent’s field.
In closing, Star-vader Infinite Zero Dragon is one of the strongest Break Ride cards because of its many powerful Lock combos with its fellow Star-vaders. Its Lock ability can change the game and hinder an opponent. Unfortunately, there is a very bad apple named Star-vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon who abuses Star-vader, Infinite Zero Dragon’s Break Ride.
