The Top Ten Cardfight!! Vanguard Cards That Need Reprints!

Cardfight!! Vanguard began in 2010 and Bushiroad has reprinted some cards for the game. Many of the most important cards in each format need reprints. Players need a healthy circulation of reprints for all players can build their decks. Many decks require particular cards to unleash their full potential.

Furthermore, new players need access to old cards with great value. Reprints allow new players to easily play Cardfight!! Vanguard. It is the best method to gain and keep new players. Konami has reprinted many cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! for this reason.

This is my list of the top ten cards from Cardfight!! Vanguard needing a reprint. I am only including one card for a clan. Many cards from most clans need a reprint in a future booster set.

1. Progenitor Dragon of Lightning Flame, Gilgal

Progenitor Dragon of Lightning Flame, Gilgal is one of the best Progenitor Dragons. This G-Unit attacks all of the opponent’s units, and he basically retires every rear-guard in battle. It is a great first G-Unit for every clan in the Dragon Empire. It is also a great card for countercharging damage. You may stride without a cost for the remainder of the game after you play this card.

Furthermore, the first ability of Progenitor Dragon of Lightning Flame, Gilgal does not have a heavy cost if you play this card properly at the right time. You will countercharge a lot of damage if Progenitor Dragon of Lightning Flame, Gilgal hits two or more of the opponent’s rear-guards. An opponent cannot afford to defend every rear-guard from this unit’s attack, and many of your attacks will retire rear-guards.

Bushiroad only printed the Progenitor Dragons in Special Series 01: PREMIUM COLLECTION 2019. These G-Units are key cards for every deck in the Premium Format. It would be very valuable for every player if Bushiroad to reprint these cards.

2. Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha (V Series)

Justice will always vanquish the forces of evil. Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha is one of the best cards for Dimension Police in the V-Standard and Premium formats. This ultimate robot of the Dimensional Robos gives an additional attack and twin drive with its abilities. You are able to create a formidable front row with this card’s abilities.

Furthermore, Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha is a VR and SVR from Champions of the Asia Circuit. This card deserves a reprint because it is a key card for the archetype. Ultimate Dimensional Robo, Great Daiyusha is one of the best finishers for the deck due to its abilities to superior ride itself from your hand.

3. Guilty Empress, Darkface Gredora

Cards with the ability to restrict the opponent are powerful units. Guilty Empress, Darkface Gredora is the perfect example of this type of card. The queen of Megacolony deserves a reprint due to her strong ability. Guilty Empress, Darkface Gredora prevents the opponent from superior calling units from the deck, drop zone, and bind zone. She also prevents opponents from calling G-Guardians from the G-Zone.

Guilty Empress, Darkface Gredora is one of the strongest cards for Megacolony in the Premium Format. This card only has one print in the Premium Collection 2019. I would like Bushiroad to reprint this card.

4. Last Card, Revonn (V Series)

Last Card, Revonn is one of the best cards for Aqua Force in the V-Premium Format. This unit brings consistency to the clan, and the conditions for his second ability are easy to fulfill. His generic abilities create powerful combos with your wave of attacks. Last Card, Revonn gains triple drive, 15,000 power, and an additional critical.

In addition, Last Card, Revonn is a VR from Team Dragon’s Vanity!. It is the only print of this amazing card. Aqua Force needs a reprint of Last Card, Revon because it is one of the best cards from the clan.

5. Chronovisor Heritage

Gear Chronicle turns the wheels of time and Chronovisor Heritage symbolizes the clan’s ability to manipulate time. This G-Unit skips the opponent’s turn. You can two consecutive turns, and G-Unit strides himself with this ability. Chronovisor Heritage swings the momentum in your favor because you have two turns with an opportunity to win the game.

Therefore, Chronovisor Heritage manipulates the game with his ability. You have two turns to build resources and overwhelm the opponent with many attacks. On the other hand, an opponent is not gaining resources due to they missed their turn. You break through their defenses on your second turn with Chronovisor Heritage

Chronovisor Heritage has only been printed in G Booster Set 14: Divine Dragon Apocrypha. It is a great card for Zodiac Time Beast and Chronojet Dragon. Bushiroad needs to reprint this amazing card.

6. Bluish Flame Liberator, Percival (V Series)

Bluish Flame Liberator, Percival (V Series)

A card with a rarity of RR on this list may surprise you. Bluish Flame Liberator, Percival (V Series) is one of the strongest cards from Cardfight!! Vanguard V. This Gold Paladin does everything in a single ability. He creates an accel circle and superior calls Oath Liberator, Aglovale (V Series)

Furthermore, Bluish Flame Liberator, Percival (V Series) was only printed as a RR and SP in Divine Lightning Radiance. This card deserves a reprint due to his fantastic ability. He rallies the Gold Paladins with an amazing display of clan’s specialty.

However, Bluish Flame Liberator, Percival (V Series) is currently a legal card in the Premium Format and Bushiroad banned this card in the V-Premium Format. There is always a possibility of this card returning to the V-Premium Format. Decks in the future may able handle this card’s strong ability in the V-Premium Format.

7. Black Seraph, Eleleth

Players often discuss cards for their offensive capabilities in Cardfight!! Vanguard. Defense wins championships, and Angel Feather has one of the best G-Guardians in Cardfight!! Vanguard. Black Seraph, Eleleth is an effective unit with an amazing defensive skill. Black Seraph, Eleleth gains 5,000 shield for each face up card in your damage zone, and she turns a face down card to face up to increase the number of face up cards in your G-Zone.

The only print of Black Seraph, Eleleth was in Fighters Collection 2017. It is one of the most expensive cards from this booster set due to her strong ability and stunning artwork. Bushiroad should consider reprinting Black Seraph, Eleleth in a future collection.

8. One who Hunts Souls, Balaam

One who Hunts Souls, Balaam is a good card for the first G-Unit in a game for Dark Irregulars. This G-Unit soul charges two cards for each face up card in the G-Zone and  he has quadruple drive. This G-Unit also retires an opponent. You gain a lot of advantages in this card’s first ability.

Bushiroad has only printed One who Hunts Souls, Balaam in Divine Dragon Apocrypha. This card deserves a reprint. He is a useful option for Dark Irregulars in the Premium Format.

However, the only flaw of One who Hunts Souls, Balaam is the Generation Break 3. This ability does not allow the opponent to call grade 1 cards from the hand to the guardian circle. The ability is outdated because most decks play grade 0 for their sentinels (perfect guards).

9. Dandelion Musketeer, Mirkka (V Series)

Bushiroad introduced planet tokens for Neo Nectar in the V-Premium Format. Dandelion Musketeer, Mirkka is a good card for creating planet tokens for Musketeers. The clan relies on this mechanic. Dandelion Musketeer, Mirkka creates a planet token when you call her to the rear-guard circle.

Dandelion Musketeer, Mirkka is a RRR from Ultrarare Miracle Collection. She is more like to get a reprint than the other cards on this list due to her rarity. Bushiroad should reprint her for Musketeers.

10. Transmigratory Dragon, Holy Squire Dragon

Transmigratory Dragon, Holy Squire Dragon is Alfred’s solution for Lock for the Royal Paladins. This G-Unit deserves a reprint due to its usefulness against Link Joker. Lock from Link Joker brings frustration and despair to players. Transmigratory Dragon, Holy Squire Dragon unlocks all of your units and your rear-guards will be ready for battle!

Furthermore, Transmigratory Dragon, Holy Squire Dragon was only printed in G Comic Booster 1: Vanguard & Deletor. The booster set is over seven years old. It is time for Bushiroad to reprint this G-Unit for King Alfred of the Royal Paladins.

Change the VR Policy:

Bushiroad needs to change the policy for VR cards. The current policy is not working for players. It does not allow any reprints of VR cards.

A change to this policy would be a huge benefit for the game and the players. Reprints would give access to new and old players. Many of these cards are requirements for decks.

The Final Word:

Overall, Cardfight!! Vanguard needs these reprints of these cards and many other cards. Reprints of key cards create a healthy game. Players like us can finally build decks of our favorite units. The ball is now on Bushiroad’s court for they can reprint key cards and reverse their decision about reprints of VR cards.
