Elemental HERO is one of the most popular and fun archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh!. This league of superheroes debuted in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Jaden Yuki plays a deck with Elemental Heroes. Many players such myself play an Elemental HERO deck because we love the archetype and like Jaden Yuki.
I have listed the ten best Elemental HERO cards. Konami consistently creates new cards with strong effects for the deck. Elemental HERO has received a lot of powerful monsters throughout the years.
My list will only feature cards with Elemental HERO in their names and cards with effects that only support Heroes. Strong cards such as Super Polymerization do not make the list because their effects support a variety of decks.
1. Elemental HERO Stratos
One of my favorite monsters is Elemental HERO Stratos. He has fantastic artwork and two powerful effects. Elemental HERO Stratos is one of the key monsters in Elemental HERO decks.
Elemental HERO Stratos is one of the most consistent cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! He offers major advantages in duels. Elemental HERO Stratos adds any HERO monster from the deck to your hand. You have instant access to your deck’s entire library of monsters. Elemental HERO Stratos sets up Fusion Summons for powerful Fusion Monsters such as Elemental HERO Sunrise.
Furthermore, Elemental HERO Stratos is also a Heavy Storm in a monster. He can potentially destroy all of your opponent’s Spells and Traps. If you need to destroy the opponent’s back row, then Elemental HERO Stratos counters the opponent’s strategy.
2. Elemental HERO Sunrise
Elemental HERO Sunrise is an amazing Fusion Monster. One of his effects destroys one card on the field when an attack involves one of your Heroes on the field. This is a powerful effect for destroying an opponent’s card. You can activate this effect during every turn by declaring an attack with any HERO.
Furthermore, Elemental HERO Sunrise adds a Miracle Fusion from your deck to your hand. You may perform another fusion with the monsters that were material for Elemental HERO Sunrise’s fusion. Then, another Elemental HERO will join forces with Elemental HERO Sunrise!
3. Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier
Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier is a fantastic level 4 monster, who adds consistency to the deck. He special summons one of his fellow Heroes to the field. You will always have two monsters for a Fusion Summon.
Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier is also a major upgrade from Elemental HERO Bubbleman. Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier allows you to draw two cards and discard a card with an easy requirement. You just need to use him as Fusion Material for a Fusion Summon.
Furthermore, Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier is material for Elemental HERO Absolute Zero. You can play one of the deck’s premier monsters. Then, you will have an advantage in duels.
4. E – Emergency Call
E – Emergency Call adds an Elemental HERO from your deck to your hand. You can find an answer to overcome the opponent’s strategy. You gain any Elemental HERO from the deck. There are many options to choose from. E-Emergency Call sets up your powerful plays with Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier and Elemental HERO Blazeman.
5. Elemental HERO Honest Neos
One of the best re-trained cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! is Elemental HERO Honest Neos. The original Elemental HERO Neos is a lackluster monster. Elemental HERO Honest Neos provides amazing support for the deck. He has two powerful effects.
Elemental HERO Honest Neos is Honest as an Elemental HERO. You can add 2,500 power to any HERO monster on the field. It is a great effect for increasing your monster’s ATK to destroy an opponent’s monster.
6. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero
Another one of my favorite Elemental Heroes is Elemental HERO Absolute Zero. His artwork is a masterpiece, and his effect is very destructive. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero destroys all of your opponent’s monsters when he leaves the field.
Elemental HERO Absolute Zero is a strong monster with a respectable ATK. An opponent will think twice before destroying him. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero does not target monsters, and very few monsters can dodge his effect.
Furthermore, avoiding his destructive effect is not an easy task. Elemental HERO Absolute Zero will destroy your opponent’s monsters if he is destroyed or banished. An opponent’s only method of avoiding his effect is by negating his effect before he leaves the field.
7. Elemental HERO Blazeman
Consistency is the key for every deck’s success. Elemental HERO Blazeman is a fantastic monster with effects that make Elemental HERO to be a consistent deck. Elemental HERO Blazeman adds a Polymerization to your hand after you summon him. Polymerization is one of the most important cards in the deck because it Fusion summons your Heroes from the Extra Deck.
In addition, Elemental HERO Blazeman changes his attribute to any monster in the deck. You may change his attribute to set up a fusion. For example, you may change Elemental HERO Blazeman to a water monster to fusion summon Elemental HERO Absolute Zero.
8. Miracle Fusion
Miracle Fusion is an effective and efficient card. You can gain a lot of advantage from it during the late stages of the game. Miracle Fusion banishes Elemental Heroes from your graveyard for a Fusion Summon. You are likely to have many Elemental Heroes in your graveyard to fusion summon a powerful HERO.
Furthermore, Miracle Fusion has amazing synergy with many cards in the archetype. For example, Elemental HERO The Shining gains 300 ATK for each banished Elemental HERO. In addition, you may add two banished Elemental Heroes to your hand after Elemental HERO The Shining is sent to the graveyard.
9. Elemental HERO Shadow Mist
Elemental HERO Shadow Mist is a resourceful monster. He effects give access to the deck’s strongest cards. Elemental HERO Shadow Mist adds a “Change” Quick-Play from the deck to your hand. In addition, Elemental HERO Shadow Mist adds a HERO from your deck to your hand when he is sent to the graveyard.
With these effects, you get powerful cards during the duel. You can add Elemental HERO Stratos or Elemental HERO Blazeman to your hand. You maintain a strong hand of cards to win duels.
10. Parallel World Fusion
Parallel World Fusion is a unique card for Fusion Summons. It provides Elemental HERO with an additional card with the effect of summoning Fusion Monsters. It uses banished monsters as material.
Parallel World Fusion is a nice card for decks with Miracle Fusion. You use those banished monsters as Fusion Material and they return to the deck. Then, Elemental HERO Stratos may search for one of those Heroes from the deck and add it to your hand.
