Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight is an alternate version of Gearfried the Iron Knight. This version is based on Joey’s favorite monsters, Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Gearfried the Iron Knight. His artwork includes features from both archetypes. He is a combination of two archetypes in one monster. However, Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight only supports Red-Eyes.
First Effect
Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight destroys one of your opponent’s Spells or Traps when you equip an Equip Card to him and you destroy the Equip Card. You can destroy your opponent’s best Trap from the field one per turn. The effect is always a useful ability. You may want to use the effect to destroy an opponent’s face down card on the field.
Second Effect
Gearfried the Red-Eyes Iron Knight special summons one level 7 or lower Red-Eyes monster from your graveyard by sending one Equip Card to the graveyard. You instantly gain access to a powerful Red-Eyes monster from your graveyard. Your may continue to gain momentum with the new monster. For example, special summon Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning and normal summon him to destroy your opponent’s weak monsters!
